Hi :D I'm once again asking if there is any updates to the guide for 14.20? I hate to see this guide die out, its so creative and is one of my favorites<3

Hi Achromis! Thank you for the compliments. Unfortunately, I’ve stopped playing League. After 8 years, I found myself playing without enjoying it, so this guide is, sadly, no longer updated.

That said, it doesn't mean these builds are useless. Some are definitely still viable, but more importantly, take inspiration from the concepts behind them and make them your own. My favorite build is the Divine Vigilante because it came from my creativity and the desire to keep experimenting. Experiment, find a stat, rune, or item that can be enhanced and trigger other effects, and come up with your own creative build. Have fun!

Hi, glad you enjoyed the guide :) I am working on updating it in the coming weeks. Some builds are badly damaged, I need to check if they can be fixed.

Any changes to the main builds (first 3, On-Hit, Crit, and AP)?

I want to get back to ADC Bard :)
Celestial Artillerist still feels amazing, I replaced Wits End with Terminus. Crit build feels... off? Like I have less damage than before, but I cant put my finger on why...

There are changes for all builds. For Celestial Artillerist, Wits End is still good, but it will move up a few places in the build path because Terminus is effectively broken (it will replace BOTRK instead). The crit build needs to be reworked as the items that were strong last season are no longer the best on Bard, but it will provide a good amount of damage output.

In the next few days i will update all the builds and links to the downloadable builds. updating the text sections on the other hand will take a few weeks, hopefully not months but I'm working on my dissertation, be compensatory <3.

Bro, all jokes aside, this is easily the best Bard guide ive ever followed. My favoirte is Timless Traveler so far. I thought this was just blah blah damage blah meeps. Thank you for this👏. Hardly used spellbook till now, for Bard its my go to support rune. Made this account just too thank you lol.

Can only hope but im sure the others are good as well just not used to soloing with bard but gonna try now.

I suggest you to start as botlane carry. Explosive Warden and Cosmic Wizard grants lots of output damage, focus on lasthitting properly, never feed and consider using tp to optimize recall timers (hard to manage due to Bard's low push ability in early game). Wait until you have enough items and meeps to deal damage

Lol yea realized that after my 1st mid bard against a Zed, suffice to say was not pleasant but just part of the learning curve😅. Ill be sure to keep this in mind. But worse case scenario ill just support until I fully understand what im capable of with bard 〰️😮📯🎶🪙

this is an extremely high elo guide -high elo player

It is not necessary to be high elo to play these builds; indeed, in lower elos players may tend to underestimate the power of these builds. What is actually required of high level is individual skill with Bard; one can rarely get results with the more difficult builds to execute without having a good knowledge of the champion

What is the best build for use in jg?

If i had to pick one wanna say Marathon King

As you can read in the guide, I do not recommend playing Bard in the jungle. That said, the builds that perform best in jungle are the ones with lots of damage, so the first three (AS, AD and AP)

I said MK figured even more roaming power. Use your actives before a gank and just come in hot and fast lol.

MK + a full premade team might be the key to a decent result for Bard's jungle (but you have to play very aggressive). You're kind of like a Rammus but with Ivern damage

I'm a bit less excited about having to disrupt all the builds while I'm in the middle of uni exams, haha. But I'm glad that Bard comes out unscathed and sometimes even victorious from these changes. I hope to update the builds as soon as possible, but I still have many tests to conduct :)

Hopefully you'll even be able to come up with a new one too! Good luck on uni exams! I hope you have fun tinkering with the new item changes :) and also! I love the art for each build. It's frickin adorable.

Thank you! I'm already working on the update. I've completed all the tests on the builds, but I need to implement everything in the guide (update texts, tables, downloads, etc.). In the short term, I don't have any plans to develop new builds, but who knows, I might have some inspiration. Thank you for your comment on the drawings, I'll pass your appreciation on to my sister :)

This is unironically the best build guide I've ever seen. It's such a good mixture of actually useful information and stupid fun builds. Definitely gonna be using these in the future. Just have to actually get good with bard first.

Hi there, this guide is amazing. However I tried the Immortal God build, it isn't possible to build both zhonyas and guardian angel? What do I do? Is there something I'm not understanding?

Hi Achromis, thanks for the comment! What you say is partially true because, once you purchase , you can no longer purchase , but nothing prevents you from purchasing without having purchased , you can! Let me make one thing clear: in League of Legends you cannot buy two items that share the same unique passive for example /, /, / share the unique passives Cleave, Lifeline, Quicksilver respectively. There are other cases where you are allowed to build the items but the unique effects do not stacks, for example / with Rock Solid and / with Annul (e.g. in this case, if you get hit by a spell, they both go on cooldown). In our case, the unique passive called Stasis is shared by and BUT not by , since its unique passive is called Saving Grace. Here you have a list of all shared effects in LoL. Maybe these are things you already knew but leaving this comment I think it may prove useful to others as well, have a nice day!

Recently played against Singed Top going your Marathon King Build. I was pretty much useless into him since he's faster than me.... What do I do next time?

Hello, I apologize if the matchup section is not detailed, but I chose to leave it that way when I created the guide and I don't think I will change course. Let me explain the reason: some builds can only be played in one role (for example, Timeless Traveler), while others can be played almost anywhere. Considering an average of 3 roles per build and at least 20/30 matchups per role, it turns out that I would need to analyze at least 60/90 matchups for each build. Multiply this number by the number of builds I have (currently 10), and you can understand how it becomes very complex to manage... not to mention that Riot might suddenly decide to remove offensive damage from Redemption, making the Divine Vigilante build obsolete. Therefore, in order to avoid doing a superficial job, I have decided to focus on other sections of the guide. I hope you can understand my choice.

Regarding the matchup against Singed in detail, it depends on how he plays.
If he decides to perma-proxy, you can safely farm under the tower until you purchase mobility items to be useful to your team. The components of your mythic item can help you farm under the tower without minions (which is the main issue with proxy Singed).
However, if he chooses to play in lane, it becomes much more challenging to deal with because he has more damage than you. He can counter your E with his W (preventing you from taking the portal), so you should focus on farming safely and avoid engaging in fights with him.

Ah I see, that make sense. I will say that having so many different builds has reignited my excited for league. I love that I sort of, on my own, have to determine which build is appropriate (or what I'm feeling) (I actually used an RNG calculator) and then I figure out how I have to play the lane. Thank you for the advice for singed! I'll be taking that advice next time I meet him in the top lane :)
