Miss Fortune, also known as Sarah Fortune, is one of the most iconic AD Carries in League of Legends. Her playstyle combines high burst damage with strong lane presence and impressive teamfight potential. With her abilities, she can decimate enemies from a distance and turn the tide of battles with her powerful ultimate, Bullet Time.

In this guide, I'll cover everything you need to know about Miss Fortune, including her abilities, rune choices, item builds, and tips for mastering her in various stages of the game. Whether you're a seasoned ADC or new to the role, you'll find valuable insights to help you dominate the Rift with Miss Fortune.

P: Love Tap
Miss Fortune deals bonus physical damage whenever she basic attacks a new target.

Q: Double Up
Miss Fortune fires a bullet at an enemy, damaging them and a target behind them. Both strikes can also apply Love Tap.

W: Strut
Miss Fortune passively gains Move Speed when not attacked. This ability can be activated to grant bonus Attack Speed for a short duration. While it's on cooldown, Love Taps reduce the remaining cooldown of Strut.

E: Make it Rain
Miss Fortune reveals an area with a flurry of bullets, dealing waves of damage to opponents and slowing them.

R: Bullet Time
Miss Fortune channels a barrage of bullets into a cone in front of her, dealing large amounts of damage to enemies. Each wave of Bullet Time can critically strike

Max out Q First, W Second and E last. You can theoretically put 1 Point in your E Ability at level 1.

Youmuu's Ghostblade and The Collector are excellent choices for your first items, as they offer a lot of raw stats. The next best options to further optimize your DPS are Infinity Edge and an item to penetrate the enemies' armor. Lord Dominik's Regards is the most common choice, while Mortal Reminder is more situational.

If you prefer utility, you can consider Serylda's Grudge or go for lifesteal or other needs at this point.

Boots can be ignored due to the high movement speed of Miss Fortune.

Press the Attack is the most common option nowadays. Coup de Grace adds more damage, while Legend: Bloodline offers valuable sustain. If you lack sustain, Legend: Bloodline is a great choice. Presence of Mind helps solve your mana issues.

For your secondary rune tree, taking Biscuit Delivery and Magical Footwear can save you a lot of money and help you powerspike faster, which is very valuable.

Prepare minion last-hits to land a perfect Q bounce all the time.

Use E before your ultimate to set up for an easier execution.

When ganked, place your E in the gap between yourself and your enemies.

Avoid using your ultimate when in a bad position. Try to use it as a surprise, not when you're an easy target.

Activate W after your first auto attack to reduce its cooldown as much as possible.

Apply Red Buff with your Q.

Play aggressively when ahead. Zone your enemies or punish them when they go for last-hits.

In longer trades, you'll lose to other ADCs. Poke them and ensure they die before you all-in them. Attack speed-based ADCs have more consistent damage, while Miss Fortune is more of an AD caster with a lot of burst.

Overall, Miss Fortune is an incredibly fun champion to play. Her one-shot potential is insane, making it possible to carry games single-handedly. Her abilities, especially her ultimate, can turn the tide of a teamfight in an instant, dealing massive damage to multiple enemies at once. The satisfaction of landing a perfectly aimed Q that bounces to an enemy champion for a critical hit is unmatched.

However, mastering Miss Fortune is key to unlocking her full potential. You need to be precise with your skill shots, especially her Q and ultimate. Her immobility is a significant drawback, making positioning crucial. Without proper positioning and awareness, she can be easily caught out and focused down. Additionally, if you fall behind, it can be challenging to come back due to her lack of mobility and reliance on items to deal damage.

Despite these challenges, with practice and a good understanding of her kit, Miss Fortune can be a powerful and rewarding champion to play. Her ability to zone enemies with her E and apply pressure in lane can lead to significant advantages. Playing aggressively when ahead and making smart use of her abilities can make Miss Fortune a force to be reckoned with on the Rift.
