In this video, I discuss the best runes and keystone for Zoe in Season 8.

Arcane Comet synergises amazingly well with Zoe's one-shot combo as it is almost guaranteed to land with her CC. However, while playing Zoe using Summon Aery as it can bring a much more reliable form of damage in the early game.

Manaflow Band allows Zoe to not suffer from any mana issues during her clear and repeated ganking strategy.

Transcendence gives Zoe a really nice burst of CDR at level 10 and means that all further CD scales into AP damage.

Gathering Storm or Scorch are both viable options, Gathering Storm allows Zoe to scale into a monster disney character and Scorch brings some increase damage to early ganks.

Magical Footwear equals free shoes... what girl can say no to free new shoes!

Perfect Timing is a free stopwatch which once used sums it up... BROKEN!

Sudden Impact is able to be triggered from Zoe's Ultimate ability for increase Magic Penetration which means that you can focus on building AP and CDR items in the mid-game and only build Void Staff if the enemy have stacks of Magic Resist late on.

Eyeball Collection is my personal favorite for showing off your skills on Zoe and stacking it feels almost as good as having picked up a Mejai's Soulstealer.

Ghost Poro is also king for acquiring vision during lane phase especially when Zoe is highly gankable!

In the early laning phase you just want to focus on CSing and harassing your enemy whenever they got to last hit with your empowered AAs from your passive ability. Don't play too aggressive though because she is very easily ganked and it is typically best to wait for your jungler before you go for kills.

In the early-mid game you want to be looking for any opportunity to roam and make plays on the bot lane and force objectives such as first turret and drake. At 15 minutes into the game you then want to encourage your team to pick 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 skirmishes in the mid-lane when Zoe is close to completing 2 of her core items including Boots. At this stage Zoe has a huge power spike on many champions and so she can solo carry team fights with her insane burst damage from her combos. The later the game goes on the less Zoe solo dominates teamfights but she still has the potential to one shot almost anyone on the enemy team if they are not full tank. Try to force objectives such as drake and baron to bait teamfights and close out the game sub 25 minutes.

Paddle Star (Q) is Zoe's most hard-hitting damage ability, you want to aim this behind you in most cases as this charges up the damage it deals based on distance traveled. You then want to re-send the ability by casting Q again in the direction of enemy players.

Spell Thief (W) allows Zoe to pick up and mimic summoner spells recently use by enemy players, this allows for some fantastic outplays and amazing 1v1 spectacles, it's also a great tool to re-position and survive teamfights and ganks by the enemy jungler.

Sleepy Trouble Bubble (E) this ability makes Zoe as a jungler. It has a MASSIVE range when cast over walls so allows Zoe to make ganks through long range CC missiles from the fog of war. What's more the ability travels extremely fast so that if you are accurate with your spells then it is almost impossible for the enemy to dodge it. Whenever an enemy is hit by your cc follow it up with a Paddle Star (Q) and Portal Jump (R) Combo for MAXIMUM DAMAGE and enjoyable one-shots!

Portal Jump (R) with an extremely short cooldown at max level and cdr this ability is not only fun and liable to tilt the enemy but allows for Zoe to perform her one-shot combos every 3-5 seconds during late-game teamfights. It is also a fantastic tool to gank from nowhere by use it to pop-up in your enemies face over walls and land a point blank CC with your Sleepy Trouble Bubble (E) ability. Do not forget to also use this ability to check brushes as it is much more safe than simply face-checking.

First item you should be rushing as Zoe is Morellos for the CDR and mana sustain. You then want to be building most often into Lichbane or Liandry's and Luden's are also viable options. Complete Lucidity Boots at 10 minutes+ and then look to complete Zhonya's as your third item in most games (not including boots). After you have completed these core items you can then choose whether you round it off with either a Rabadon's Deathcap or Void staff.
