Pros
+ Unique playstyle + Can surprise enemies in different ways + High outplay potential + High mobility + Gap closor + Fun to play ![]() |
Cons
- High skill cap - Needs a lot of practice - Bad playing from behind - Needs to snowball to dominate ![]() |
Lee sin in the early game is really strong.
You dominate almost every 1v1 and have a great powerspike at lvl 3.
A good early path is Red - Golems - Blue - Gromp giving you a early lvl 3, and then you can look for a gank or take 1 more camp into scuttle.
Another would be Red - do full clear on your blue side, and then look for a gank/scuttle/invade.
Taking golems early is really important, as its the best camp on gold + xp
So in the Early game you should try to snowball your lanes as much as possible, or snowball yourself.
Go for a lvl 3 clear ( like the one i have shown ) and try to get a gank going! Lee sin has a lot of mobility over walls, so you should try to use that to your advantage. Ward jump over walls to avoid wards, Use q to drake and run away so you avoid wards in the bushes on botlane/midlane - this is also really good for invading enemy jungle.
When you get to the midgame / lategame you have different options on how to play. If you are really ahead and fed you should probably look for teamfights or picks and try to nuke targets, you could also play around your sidelaner(s) and get picks with them.
Pro players have 2 ways of playing Lee Sin in the mid/late game. Either you are a playmaker or you kite for your carries. In most cases they kite for their carries as it's not really easy to do insane Insec plays on other pro players, as they know how to respect it and position themself aswell as outplaying the Lee Sin. So in any case you can always play for your carries, which means you will nuke down any guy that tries to get your carry, or kick him away with your

Hard Matchups
When you are in a hard matchup you need to respect them and your pathing needs to be good, cus' if you fall behind against these guys, you will have a hard time finding anything to do in your game.
If they have a heavy farming champion like
Nocturne try to get early gangs of knowing he will most likely not be there for a counter gang, so if you can get your laners ahead before hes 6, that would be really good! If you are against a heavy ganger, try to track him and counter gang, if you get ahead early you might go from a hard matchup into a matchup you can actually win!

These matchups means that it can go both ways and is all about how the early game goes!

You will most likely win these matchups, make sure to invade and use your lead by using pressure against them!
