Ornn support is going to bully you in and out of lane. Welcome to the worst tank support meta you've ever seen.

The goal of this champion as a support is to build as much laning priority as possible, and become the top lane bruiser the early game ADC cant beat.

Use your tank stats from the top lane and your CC chains to lock down the enemy and show them the strength of the mountains.

I usually opt for the Unsealed Spellbook set of runes over the Aftershock or Guardian.

We chose the inspiration tree and used UNSEALED SPELLBOOK as the main keystone because of its versatility in lane and in mid to late game. Paired with Unflinching from the resolve tree, Ornn's sustain and tanky ability skyrockets during fights or skirmishes. Magical Footwear allows Ornn to save more gold for his tank items early instead of spending the gold on boots early. You will be at a disadvantage until 10:00min into the game, unless you get kills in lane or roam early to reduce the timer. Minion Dematerializer and Cosmic Insight are more sustain for lane and help with split pushing and fighting later in the game if it goes that long.

Next for secondary runes, we chose the resolve tree and used Conditioning and Unflinching. Conditioning works well with Ornn's passive Living Forge, and how you gain 10% Armor and 10% Magic Resist from items, on top of your bonus Armor and MR from Conditioning at 10:00min.

When laning with Ornn support, I try to stay in lane as long as possible before backing. That means I usually back after I complete my quest or die in lane. With Ornn's passive letting him build non-consumable items in lane without backing, he can build his items faster and earlier than other supports as long as he is winning lane.
