Ever since Shen got his rework, I have been trying to find where he works best now. Up top, he is the best anti-tank tank that you can find, so long as he does not fall too far behind the others and the player is skilled. He works as a support with a Marksman who can take serious advantage of his taunt and slow when he lands his Q. However, the best place that he works (for me anyway) is the jungle.

The portion regarding his health scaling is extremely important for all aspects of the game. Not getting health is an extremely foolish choice that wastes a lot of Shen's potential and will make peeling for your team (as that is what he is designed to do) much harder.
