Introduction

Hello Community, I have been looking at Aatrox build and was not quite satisfied with what i was seeing so i decided to give it a shot at making my own build guide. I want to show you what ive found works with more success after much trial and error since Aatrox has been released. I hope i can make you have as much fun as i do playing as the Darkin Blade!

Masteries

I suggest going 21-9-0 taking all AD masteries except for the ones involving crits as our build will not involve them and also taking 2 points in CDR as Aatrox has some pretty extensive Cooldowns. In the defensive column i suggest taking HP and Armor Masteries primarily. However if you are playing ranked and see your top lane opponent is an AP laner then you can switch the points in armor to MR.

Skill Sequence

i find it best to start Aatrox's W first as you can get early damage if you time the proc correctly however it can be difficult against a ranged opponent in which i recommend starting Q or E first. It has worked best for me to max W first as well due to it being the best scaling ability in Aatrox's skill set at 100% AD for Blood Price. This will give high damage when building it as such. Maxing it will also increase the amount you are being healed for increasing your sustain either when dueling or healing off of minions. Again if you are against a ranged opponent you might want to invest in maxing E first as it has high dmg when ranked as well.

Items

Im sure someone will want to know why i dont have Blade of the Ruined King on my core list. This is because it SUCKS ON HIM. Im so tired of people recommending that item for him its not good on him. He needs upfront dmg not AS. The AS can come later but at early lvls his ult is enough AS to keep him alive long enough to kill. If you want AS at later lvls then i welcome you to get it but still at that Zephyr is better. Thanks for reading todays bash on Blade. :D

Summary

Please keep in mind this is my first guide so it is not flashy but still can be helpful to people. I hope it helps and i look forward to seeing your votes (good or bad) and maybe some constructive criticism? :D
