Chapter 1

Welcome to my Hecarim build, this is a build that i devised for a top solo laner that is able to sustain some damage as well as regen and dish some back.

Introduction

For masteries i went 9/21/0 focusing on movement speed, health, cooldown reduction and attack power. for runes i went with flat atk damage marks (early laning), mana regen per level seals(sustain) and ability power glyphs (early aggresion). For items i start with boots of speed and 3 pots, as soon as i am able i rush for a sunfire cape, the extra armor health and presence damage combined with spirit of the dread combines for a great combination. i then get my boots asap, i go for boots of swiftness for a better gap in movement speed between u and other champs, the extra atk damage is also nice from the +3 instead of a +2 boots. by this point in time ur armor should be fine but ur health might be a little low so i reccomend going after warmogs for much more sustain and by this point u should be able to tank a lot and do some nice set ups and damage for ur team. i then rush an abysall scepter to do more damage with both ur spirit that u have been maxing and ur sunfire cape. i then go for a will of the ancients to allow u to get even more regen to sustain team fights easily. lastly there is a choice i reccomend either a force of nature for magic resist and extra movement speed, or frozen heart for extra armor mana and cooldown reduction. For skills you should focus on maxing spirit of the dread first as this will be ur primary source of sustain and damage, pick up devastaing charge second but max it last then focus on spending pts in spirit and ur Q atk. Lastly for summoner spells i went with flash and heal for farm as well as flashing into fights to ult.

I hope u find this build helpful and have fun.
