What this guide is meant to do!
This guide is meant to give a rough idea and show what items smolder likes to build. As well as show what abilities he prefers to level and the general order. I will try my best to update any particularly relavent builds, strats, synergies, threats, ability orders, and rune changes.
Threats and Synergies
Smolder has a difficult time dealing with constant poke damage and anyone who can out pressure his lane. Some of these champs would be, Draven, Caitlyn, Kaisa, ETC.
On the opposite end of things, Smolder works particularly well with champs who can keep the pressure going! Champs that fall into this cateogory are, Jarvan, Pantheon, Ashe, ETC.

When to fight?
Smolder has a particularly difficult time fighting early do to being a scaling champion. You absolutely DO NOT want to try and take fight before your first item. But, after you acquire your first item(s) fighting becomes more about poking from a distance and kiting the enemy. Although you want to be getting as many Q stacks as possible instead of fighting.
