Thresh
Thresh can engage so good for you and can help you to escape from bad situations, any support that can be aggressive and can engage is good. Be careful with his abilities tho, can mess up a skillshot that can kill the enemy.

Champion Build Guide
I'm a noob who loves off-meta picks, i find them interesting and maybe it's not the way to git gud, but for me it's the way to have tons of fun.
My main account is Veigarzzz, i'm peruvian, so sorry if my english is bad and i'm a bronce II player so you might be closing the guide by now BUT PLEASE DON'T DO IT.
I love Akali and i personally don't picture myself playing other champ like her, so take that with my deep love for off-meta and here you go, welcome to my first guide in the whole universe and i'm exiting and nervous (maybe was better to start with that but whatever).
Probably nobody is gonna to see this but **** it i'm going to do my best B)
Pros
- Akali has a good mobility with her three dashes ( Shuriken Flip and Perfect Execution )
- She has decent damage when you get you first item, in this case Hextech Rocketbelt or Night Harvester
- A lot of freedom to use your abilities, you can use Shuriken Flip to bait a hook or another cc that can mess you up, also dance around the enemies with Twilight Shroud it's important to position and come out just right in time
- She is a lot of fun :D
Cons
- Weak in early until the powerspike (mainly in level 6 or 9)
- Against cc can be really bad, one ability can destroy her since now can be two enemies dealing damage to you
- I wouldn't put this but, getting use to her takes time, don't get discourage by this, once you get her beat is fricking awesome.
It's mainly because when you are playing in the bot lane the enemy champions don't tend to handle to much damage.
I test this and against a Zyra I manage to kill her in just two trades, activate Electrocute can be a HUGE difference, you can activate by the combo Five Point Strike + Assassin's Mark + Five Point Strike again or if you have level 3 by Shuriken Flip + reactivate + Five Point Strike or Assassin's Mark.
This is the rune that i would take since there is no other rune that can get us the result we want, Conqueror is for longer trades (something you won't have against an adc) and Fleet Footwork is for sustain and is better to have the extra damage for more aggressive playstyle than sustain in lane.
Flash is also a good option, but i got use to not taking it so much that I pretty much never use it, in theory can be good to cut distance between you and the enemy adc and to escape in bad situations.
The other option to full burst is Night Harvester, you are going full for the squishy champions and the passive of this item really does a lot for that, it procs for every champ so squishies really can't handle the damage. Best option if you want the enemy to go from 100 to 0.
Every ability that does damage can proc Assassin's Mark, it basically makes a circle around the enemy, when you are leaving the circle gives you a slightly boost of movement speed and when you get out of the circle get a empowered basic attack, has more range and deals extra damage. |
Main ability to trade with Akali and main source of damage in low levels, (before Perfect Execution). At the tip of the ability slows the enemy a little bit making it easier to land other abilities or to catch up the enemy, try to use it for trade, and in this case it's better to farm, you don't want to take free damage from the enemy adc. Also if you do it in diagonal form can proc the passive instantly. |
This ability makes you invisible and can help you when you don't want to take free damage from the enemy adc. Restores energy and expands your energy gauge by 80, it's really useful when you are getting low in energy. When Shuriken Flip touches the shroud leaves a mark and you can recast Shuriken Flip. |
The only skillshot in Akali's kit, great escape tool but most important your main resource for damage, the recast do TONS TONS of damage and follows the enemy no matter what, so if they try to flash you can follow them to finish the job quickly. Don't miss this ability, is really important. Also can make you dash through walls so keep that in mind. |
This ability is really good to prevent ganks, getting close to the enemy, and burning Banshee's Veil (if they have it), it's targeted. The recast is the real deal, it's an execution, the lower the hp of the enemy is the more damage you do, use it at the end of combos or when it's running out of time, thanks to the secondary runes of domination with Ultimate Hunter you can have it in no time, don't hesitate on use it for escape. |
The thing you looking for it's getting the Shuriken Flip recast, don't forget that the support can engage with it's more than a good opportunity to do your full combo.
Always look for the kill and get the advantage, Akali is no good farmer so getting kills can lead you to have a good advantage against the enemy, be careful, you can fed a lot by going all-in without an escape plan, always have you W Twilight Shroud to get you cover if you get in a bad spot.
When you get your level 6, considering that you have at least decent amount of gold you can melt the enemy adc. Use Perfect Execution to close the gap between you and the enemy carry, and if you manage to kill them without using the recast, use it if you have to get the hell out of that situation. Don't forget, you are an assassin, do what you do best and get the lead no matter what.
One thing I really like is helping the team with the advantage you got in lane, you can be a second jungler. Keep in mind, that is important to get back in lane from time to time, you won't get farm from minions and won't get any xp, you don't have to underestimate the enemy carry if they get fed through minions and towers you can have a lot of trouble. In teamfights look forward to go against squishy champions, your damage and your tools should be enough to get the kill and get in a good spot.
Don't forget, nobody, NOBODY, can't do a 1v5 (well maybe champs like Yone or Sett can but it doesn't matter) always go with your team, they can save you in a lot of situations, if they are coming and you are in trouble, use Zhonya's Hourglass to burn time.
When securing objetives Akali is pretty bad in helping the team do that, the one thing I personally like to do is burning time with the enemy, or try to punish an enemy that is in a bad spot or when the enemy is rotating towards the objetive punish them, forcing 1v1 situations.
Thanks to Lich Bane you are a good split pusher, if you are fed slip pushing can be a good idea. Akali can take 1v2 with a little bit of troubles but she can handle it.
Closing the game and destroy the nexus becomes the main goal, Guardian Angel can mess you up if you want to kill the enemies, that is why you have to use your advantage to force situations that can lead you to win the game.
Quite simple right?.
But now for real, Akali can get an easy advantage in the bot lane thanks to have a support that can engage for you. The problem is when gets up to a state in the match when you can't scale more, you want to finish the match and not get to much into late game.
Remember, this guide is more for tips and tricks or some things to keep in mind while trying this. But i would really appreciate if you try new things and find other ways to play.
The most important thing is to enjoy the game and have fun.
Good luck!.
I'm looking forward in updating this guide from time to time, i'm not planning in doing another guide/build since there isn't to much a bronze II can talk about hahah.
