No, I'm not stupid. Give me a chance you flamers! This is why I'm playing Alistar as AD and not as AP or Tank. This will also be my Pros and Cons Section.

You have very nice CC which many other melee champions lack. Both Pulverize and Headbutt is good for both you and your team.
You have a heal, Might not be the biggest and baddest of them all, But 170 at rank 5 is still enough for a melee carry. And it got a very low CD, and almost 0 mana cost. Win win.
Your Ultimate makes people not wanna target you. They know that when you pop it, they won't get you down no matter how many Veigar ultis and Master Yi's thats chopping you.

Conclusion: Melee Carry that hit's extremly hard, Has AWESOME CC ability, Heals himself, his team and ALL minions around him, Is nearly unkillable while ulti is on.

Cons: Squishy Early on, Lacks a bit of damage before ghostblade, Low movement, Can't Sololane at all. Always needs a duo.

Hello and Welcome to my second Alistar build, This will be a bit more well written with more info and more thought to it. I will look from more angles and tell you more about my items of choose. Well let's move on.

Also, Don't downvote this right when you see it, If you don't understand why I go AD. Read the full guide. It is Viable, If you feel like tanking, Check out my other Alistar build. I will do a rework on it later.

The runes I have chosen is Armor pen, Dodge and CDR/level. Why you ask?

CUZ YOU WANNA HIT THEM SO HARD THAT THEY TURN INTO ****! WHILE YOU DANCE AROUND THEM WITH YOUR DODGE HEAD BUTTING THEN EVER SECOND CLOSER AND CLOSER TO YOUR HERO POOL!!! AAAARRGGGHHHH

As I mentioned before, Dodge runes is nice. If you don't feel like your in need of the EXP gain from the Utility tree you might aswell go grab nimbleness. Other wise, Standard melee Masteries with focus in offence.

The good part here is that you can be very flexible with your picks. If your getting lots of harass, Stack up that heal. If you do lot's of harass, Stack up that Pulverize. Just one thing. Don't stack headbutt. You won't need the extra damage it provides from gaining skill, And you can't farm anything with it.

Note: If you don't pick Ulti at lvl 6,11 and 16. Please stop reading right now.

Flash - Great if you don't have a ranged stun in your lane.
Ghost - Alistar really lacks movement speed. I'd say this is the most important skill for Alistar if you don't wanna die all the time and get more then 7kills per game.
Ignite - If your team doesn't have one and your facing Mundo, Soraka, Taric. Why not?
Exhaust - Alistar is like I said very slow. And doesn't have a ranged slow. Exhaust can be really good for you. But, You will be missing your Flash or Ghost very much.
Cleanse - If the enemy team got more then 3 stuns. Pick it or you will be much useless. Seriously, Listen to me. I've bin there.

Here comes the tricky part. Your Item build. If your not completely blind or can't count to 6, you will see that there is several more items in the build-description then you could possibly carry. So I will tell you guys when and why you will buy each of these items. Let's get going then.

Berserker's Greaves - 2 movement is pretty low, But with ghost you should manage for now. It gives you 25% AS tho, Which is really important for Alistar. since you hit so hard, you wanna hit fast.

Youmuu's Ghostblade AD/ArP/AS/Movement/CDR WHAT ELS DO YOU NEED!? OMG THIS IS SO CORE!

Trinity Force Speaks for itself. It gives you all stats you need, But you mainly want it for the sheen proc. you spam tons of ability's and with this you will be pwning so many ***es that they won't be able to **** for several months. maybe ever.

Infinity Edge The crit you get from Trinity will go great with this and the proccs from Trinity aswell. I've done crits as high as 1.5k with these 4 items. Tho, You don't hit very fast. But the damage, OH THE DAMAGE! ALI PLEASE MORE! MORE! AHH AHHH OOOHH AH!

Bloodthirster Lifesteal, Nuff said bout this piece of flare.

Black Cleaver AD,AS aaaaand ArP. Perfect. But, It costs a lot to an already expensive build.

Aegis of Legion Helps you beef, Give your team an awesome aura, and it's cheap as hell.

Banshee's Veil just the same as Aegis, - Aura, + Spell block.
