Welcome to my first guide. I decided to do my first guide on Amumu because I generally play him a bit different than everyone else. Sometimes I jungle with Amumu and other times I do not. My build is a bit different when I am jungling and I do prefer to choose smite as a summoner spell. I have found this build to be effective on Amumu probably 9/10 times. is a great choice for Amumu since he uses soo much of his mana pool early game.

is used to reduce Amumu's cooldowns. Sometimes I swap this with .

The masteries I use are to help Amumu get to level six and to obtain his core items as quick as possible. Sometimes, If I know my team composition will be VERY squishy I will adjust my masteries and become more tanky. As a whole, I use Amumu as a killer AND a tank. The utility tree, I have found, works very well with the way I play Amumu.

is an important tool in Amumu's arsenal. Not only does it do lots of damage, it also helps you catch other champions in the processing of running away.

is used to do damage to everything within range of you.

is massive damage that reduces the cooldown when you take damage.

is Amumu's bread and butter. When in team fights this is a game changer and can turn the tide of any game. Need an Ace? Use this in a team fight.

W, Q, E, E, R, E, Q, E

Flash and Exhaust are almost a must. Unless you are jungling.... I suggest Flash and Smite.

I jungle Amumu when no one else wants to. He is, in my opinion a decent jungler until about level six when he becomes an excellent jungler and excels in ganks. As Amumu, I jungle the following route.

1. Blue
2. Wolves
3. Golems
4. Wraiths
5. Red
