Anivia is a high burst damage champion, who is an effective killer throught the curse of the game.


First Skills

I master frostbite first because that's the most deadly skill of anivia, you can do alot of damage in low lvl if you just freeze your enemie, second for mana efficient flash cost 20 more mana and frostbite only 10, the damage is the same +30.


Runes

Red = Magic pen, putting another thing here is useless, you have 9 magic pen + 20 from boots (later in the game) that's 29 and all the champs have 30 magic resistance, if they don't get some magic resistance they'll die before they can say "Watch out with the bird".

Yellow = mana regen/lvl, this is simple you're a mana ***** you need mana, at low lvl you wont spam that much skills but when you reach lvl 6 you will since your ult consumes a lot of mana, but at lvl 6 mana regen per lvl runes are more eficient than flat mana regen, it's perfect/

Blue = Cooldown reduction, to spam your skills faster, sure you can say "But you can put AP" Well yeah but if you can shoot faster = faster stuns, faster walls.

Why flat health on Quint? Well because anivia has low hp around 400, with this you have around 500 and your egg has 500 hp too, so lvl 1 Anivia with egg = 1k hp instead of 800.
You're very squishy keep that in mind.


Masteries/Spells

Ignite, this is beautiful when your enemy tries to run, he will die anyways. Besides that it makes the health regen/effect 50% less effective this is very useful vs Taric, Sona, Soraka, etc.

Flash, if you know how to use it I don't need to explain why.

Masteries I go 9/0/21, I choose Utility mastery for 30% more time of blue golem/baron's buff, the Quickness masterie because anivia is ****ing slow, the rest are self explained.


Items

First buy a sapphire crystal and 2 health potion, that's all you need.

When you get 975 of gold go for the Catalyst because when you lvl up it gives you mana and hp and that saved me a lot of times also you can stay in lane a lot more.

Then sorceres shoes since everyone has some magic resistance (30 as default) it's pretty good since it's not % it's flat (+ runes), gives you a good boost of damage.

Afterwards buy Rod of Ages, it's a must since it's a low cost item that gives you a good amount of hp,mana and ap and when the time passes it gives you more stats, if you buy it later you wont get a full effect of it.

Archangel staff will be one of your best friends since makes your mana pool bigger each spell you use and with bigger mana pool more AP, and mana regen, it's really really good.

Then everyone should be stacking magic ress (or they should) so you get your Void Staff you already have good healt (around 2k) a big mana pool (2k - 3k) and a good mana regen.

Then the cherry in the top if your damage isn't dumb atm then wait till you get Rabadon's :D seriously I've killed Ashe's, Teemo's with only Q.


Mejai's Soulstealer

If you are really killing champions or doing assistance w/o getting killed that much go for Mejai's Soulstealer before rod of ages, since this baby is the real stuff when you're gaining kills, if the game is not going that well it's too risky to buy it since it doesn't give you a real boost w/o stacks (1.8k gold for 20 ap?...).


Blue Golem Buff

At lvl 6 you can solo the golem with a full mana pool, 20% reduction cooldown and a lot of mana regen, you can use your ulti a lot more w/o going back to base, you can farm a lot better, always get this buff when available, unless you're not being very efficient leave it to one of your mates, if not go for it, it's a must.
