i want to talk about the runes that i use to play my ap carry lux. i take an unusual glyph for lux, i chose a cooldown reduce glyph instead of taking the more commonly used ability power glyph. i do this because this rune page helps to spam your combo ecpesially the ulti while still getting mana regen and ability power from other runes. while i chose cooldown reduce glyphs the ability power glyphs are just as good and i have seen many good lux players with them i just have chosen not to use them in this build instead using cooldown reduce glyphs.

i have chosen the summoner spells of teleport and clarity because i play lux mid and tele gets me to lane faster and calrity givesw me a larger suppluy of mana to use early game. other summoner spells that are viable options are ignite, flash and ghost all helping lux in different ways. many lux players take flash and ghost for better mobility and movement around team fights. ignite can be a very solid summoner spell if you have decided to play lux as a laner and usually you would take ignite with flash or ghost if you were builiding and playing that way.

To start i get the dorans ring to start. Once i have gotten that i b the next time and if i have enough money i get the catalyst before the boots. then i continue the build sometimes deciding to build first the rod of ages then the rabadons. whatever fits the game better is the item you should buy first. i continue my build then when i get to the void staff sometimes i build the archangel's staff before it depending.if the other team has no tank i chose to build the void staff last. i finish the build with an elixir of brilliance to give me 40 cooldown reduce and to gain even more ap for my combo.
