AP ezreal has always been good! I would however suggest that if your mejai's is not working out well, but you feel you have no need for extra defenses, ryjai's crystal scepter helps with slowing everyone hit by Essence Flux, Arcane Shift and Trueshot Barrage. It can prove useful, but I'm not much for stack items anyhow, going to have to try using them on ezreal more often. Good build and detailed anyway! +1

BEASTLY build, i love it. I've always preferred AP ez over AD but i fel i was lackin some damage. But with this build, its awesome. Both games i playes with this i got 20 stacks and legendary haha. First game 19/2/13. Great build.

I am a bit disappointed in people who vote and comment guides, without reading them.

@Exorblade: No magic pen? Maybe try to look again or read the section about MP.

@Slizer002: In this guide are guidelines(cause its a guide) how to play an AP Ezreal in my way. The other informations like calculations and caps, are facts and no "misinformation".

This guide works well for me and i played it in ELO between 1400 and 1600. Sry, that my ELO isnt higher, but if zou are a better player i am sure you can play Ezreal with this guide better than me.
Mejai's is the item in the game with the most possible AP you can get. This guide tries to show you how to play an AP Ezreal without many deaths.(imo it is saver like a AD EZ, cause you dont need your autoattacks). So you can easily use Mejai's with more than 10 stacks. But if you dont like this or the game is bad and without any kills, so take the suggested items in the item chapter.

Just try it and then vote next time.

maybe ad is better but this is a other way to play Ezreal. You can deal insane dmg and you are a very good ap carry in normal and ranked games.
And i take Mejai's, because it is the item which gibes the most AP (180 AP with 20 Stacks) and if you play save you should not die often and your stacks are everytime about 10 stacks or more.
