Shaco's Story.
Whatever the truth of his history might be, Shaco has joined the League of Legends for reasons only he knows. He is a terrifying figure, typically shunned by both his fellow champions and the media at large. Only the summoners in the Institute of War know why such a creature was allowed into the League, but most Runeterrans suspect it to be a means that allows the power that be to keep an eye on the ever-elusive Shaco. Unsurprisingly, this champion is popular in places where madness can openly reign, such as among the power-hungry summoners of Zaun and Noxus.
Whatever you do, don't tell him you missed the punch line.

Shaco has always been one of my favorite champions. His nuking damage, through crits and his Shiv, make playing him very hard. I play Shaco as a AP laner. At the end of most games, Shaco's shiv should do about 1000-1400 damage, if you follow the build correctly. Shaco is a fun and pretty interesting champion to play and is very fun to juke with. In this build, I will explain all of this with the best detail I could.
This skill sequence allows Two-Poison Shiv to do scary damage. Stacking Shiv once all your other moves are at rank 2 will make your opponents think, "Omg. Shaco. Run." After your Shiv is at rank 5, rank the others in the respective order,
Q W Q W etc.
The items I get are critical to especially early game, which I will explain later. Lich Bane, Nashor's Tooth, and Rabadon's Deathcap are the core items of AP Shaco. Activating Lich Bane with Shiv will well, like I said like 5 times, "Do enormous damage" The last item I get are usually Void Staff or Abyssal Scepter. If there are some heavy ap mages.. then get the scepter, if there are heavy MR tanks, get the staff.
The Offense Masteries I have for AP Shaco give me exceptional AP per level, Flat AP masteries, improved Ignite and Exhaust. The Utility give me Health/Mana Regen, essential for most champions and also movement speed.
For Shaco, Flash isn't necessary when you have Deceive every 15 seconds. Exhaust and Ignite are the moves that are the best for a person preferring offense more than getting away (defense).

At the beginning of every game... quickly gather your items and make your way to the blue buff, if and only if you do not have a jungler on your team starting at blue. Stack your jack in the boxes at the blue buff and take the golem down with the Health Potion you have and auto attack. With the blue buff... you should be able to constantly spam your moves until Level 4. Don't underestimate the blue buff.. put a move down every time you can when having the buff.
Stacking Boxes in the Bushes.
This is my favorite strategy of getting kills. 3 times out of 4, I get a First Blood Double Kill. If you are dominating your lane put your JitB's in the bushes as farthest from the minions as possible.
DO NOT EVER PUT JACK IN THE BOXES IN THE BUSH CLOSEST THE TURRET. PUT YOUR JitB's IN THE CLOSEST BUSH TO YOUR TURRET (anywhere in that bush).
When you walk out of the bush to farm some minions, and you want to walk back into the bush with your jitb's... MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT ATTRACTING ANY AGGRO BECAUSE THEY WILL FOLLOW YOU INTO THE BUSH AND YOUR JACKS WILL BE WASTED!

When Ganking, deceive over to your enemy, and PLACE A JACK IN THE BOX IN THE DIRECTION THEY ARE RUNNING BEFORE YOU START ATTACKING. Slow them with your Shiv and attack them from the behind as they are running. If they do not run, turn into two (Hallucinate) and nuke him down.
Tricking your opponent with Hallucinate really makes me happy because it most often saves me and haves me have a chuckle when the opponent for the many tricks I play on.
I have many tricks to use to trick your opponent.
Trick #1: Control your clone to approach the enemy. You, yourself, will Deceive to the enemy and focus them down.
This trick is the easiest to see and will cause you the most trouble.
Trick #2: Control your clone to run toward the enemy and then you respectively follow.. pressing the keys, ALT Click --> Click --> Alt Click --> Click
Usually, you lead the clone then fight. In this, the clone goes first, so the opponent thinks its you.
Trick #3: WHEN RUNNING AWAY... Turn into two. Then imitate the "W" from Wukong. Stay in one place. Then command your clone to run away. When the team follows the clone. Simply deceive the other way and you get away alive.
This trick works 50% of the time. So don't rely on it heavily.

Shaco can easily dodge ults from people such as Karthus, Caitlyn, Lux, and Garen.
If you notice when you play Shaco and his ultimate, he stealths for half a second and reappears. This is the perfect time to actually dodge a ultimate and save your life. I perform it all the time and rarely ever miss it. (This is because I practiced this a lot in custom). This trick always has someone rage that they didn't get the 500g from me and they start getting mad, saying, "HACKS HACKS HACKS NOOB."
I will post a video on this I found on Youtube.

Lichbane gives a buff that has a orangey thingy go around Shaco's shivs, unfortunately, the clone doesn't get this glowy thingy. You HAVE TO BE CAREFUL WHEN JUKING.
Don't use Deceive to get away unless you VERY certain that juking with you clone is unnecessary and you will get away.
Deceive will get you the Sheen buff and will mess you up and the enemy will find you.
