I have tried AD/AS and AP/AS Teemo alot but I still think that pure AP Teemo is the most fun way to play him. It has huge amounts of burst damage and you can seriously destroy their team with your shrooms.
I didn't find the same kind of build so I figured I should put it out since I've used mobafire a lot and in my opinion this is an effective way to play AP Teemo.


Camouflage : If Teemo stands still for 2 seconds without taking damage, he becomes stealthed (damage will break this effect). Moving or taking actions will break Teemo out of stealth and give him Element of Surprise, increasing his attack speed by 40% for 3 seconds.

Blinding Dart: Obscures an enemy's vision with a powerful venom, dealing magic damage to the target unit and causing all their attacks to miss for the duration.

* Cooldown: 8 seconds
* Range: 680

Cost: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 Mana
Magic Damage: 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+0.8 per Ability Power)
Blind: 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 / 2.25 / 2.5 seconds

Move Quick: Teemo scampers around, increasing his movement speed. If Teemo gets hit by a champion or turret while Moving Quick, he gets knocked out of it.

* Cooldown: 8 seconds
* Cost: 40 Mana to activate

Movement Speed: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 %

Toxic Shot (Passive): Each time Teemo deals damage to an enemy, he will poison the target, dealing damage on hit and each second for 4 seconds. Magic Damage on hit: 9 / 18 / 27 / 36 / 45 (+0.14 per Ability Power)

Magic Damage per second: 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 / 30 (+0.14 per Ability Power)

Noxious Trap: Teemo places a trap which stealths and arms in 1.5 seconds. It detonates if an enemy steps on it, dealing magic damage and poisoning nearby enemies. Poisoned enemies take magic damage and have their movement speed slowed for 4 seconds. Traps last 10 minutes. Teemo gains a "stored mushroom" charge every few seconds. Maximum three charges. Each cast requires and consumes a charge.

* Range: 230
* Cooldown: 1 second
* Collision Area of Effect: 20
* Explosion Area of Effect: 500 (estimate)
* Sight Radius: 425 (estimate)

Cost: 75 / 100 / 125 Mana
Magic Damage: 250 / 475 / 700 (+0.8 per Ability Power)
Charge Receive Time: 30 / 26 / 22 seconds


Summoner spells
Ignite: Finish those kids off!
Flash: Free get out of jail card.
You can take exhaust instead of ignite if you want.
I would say always pick flash, it saves your *** and helps you get kills.


You can always get Mejai's Soulstealer as your first item if you feel comfortable that your not going to die.

Zhonya's Ring Loads of AP and enough protection to survive througt mid game due to its activation.

Lich Bane: This is where to burst comes. With ~300 AP at this point you'll do huge burst with your blinding dart -> autoattack -> toxic shot. You will be devastating to your enemy teams carrys/supports.

Rylai's Crystal Scepter: Slow, HP and AP, what else do you need in late game ?

Void Staff: Never under estimate the power of magic pen!

And boots are pretty obivous choice, I dont see why I would get any others boots.



Early game: You want to harash as much as you can. With flat AP quints and doran's ring you will do very nice damage with your blinding dart. You will have no mana problems with mana regen seals, at least I don't. When you got your opponents low, just blinding dart and use ignite to finish them off. And of course farm, farm and farm creeps. You should be able to lane at least to get Boots of speed and Blasting wand in your first trip back. I prefer you get straight Needlelsy large rod and boots of speed but thats not always possible. Also cosider buying Elixir of brilliance when ever you go to base, since they are now very cheap and does kinda huge difference.

Mid game: You should be finished with your Zhonya's and your rushing to get Lich bane: Get your shrooms everywhere - You will get few assist and maybe a kill or two. Finish off your Lich bane and start bursting your enemys *** off!

Late game: Get your Rylai's and go with your team. You want to stay behind the tank(s) always, sneak to shoot enemys carrys with your blinding dart burst and then go back again to wait your blinding dart cd refreshes and do it again. You shouldn't have any problems to do this since you're very fast with your Lich bane and Move quick. Cover yourself with few shrooms so you wont be in big danger if someone's trying to get you. Remember to use Zhonya's, it will save you million times: If you see someone is coming to you, just shoot blinding dart, put your shrooms to the ground, use Zhonya's and watch 'em die.
I almost never get to the Void staff so I didnt even put 6th item to my build. You can really get what you want, Deathfire Grasp if you want some more burst, Banshee's veil or Guardian Angel for more defence.


***I'm not tested yet this build very much but for now the result have been very good. Zhonya's and lich bane are both very expensive and if you're not doing well early game you may be in trouble. I will edit this build if needed when I get more games played.***
