So I've been looking around on MobaFire for a possibly better AP Yi guide, and found barely any AP Yis at all. So I decided to take my current AP build and incorporate it into this guide here. I know you might be wondering "WTF this guide is small. Okay let's just skim through and HOLY **** WHERE ARE THE PICTURES?!" This guide is quick, so you don't have to spend hours reading it.

Pros:
Kick-*** farmer
Very sustainable
Deals a ton of damage with his Q

Cons:
Squishy
Screwed when low and/or crippled

For runes, I take Magic Pen. Marks, Mana Regen Per Sec. Seals, CDR Glyphs, and 2 Magic Pen and 1 AP Quintessence.

The Magic Pen. helps out a whole lot with Yi's Q Ability: Alpha Strike. AP also does the same thing, plus Yi's W, Meditate, utilizes a ****load of that Ability power (well over 100%) to heal you way more, which provides sustainability, and CDR is just for pissing off the other team with your Alpha Strike.

Okay so first off for items we get an Amplifying Tome and 1 HP or Mana Pot. Farm for a bit and get one Boots of Speed and another Amplifying Tome, then get Sheen, Mejai's, and Sorcerer's Shoes. Then you rush Hextech Gunblade, and get a Lich Bane and a Morello's Evil Tome. When you're done with that get a Rabadon's Deathcap and increase your destructive power.

These items are situational and are only needed in these scenarios.

AA Staff - If you're still mana hungry (if it's even possible by mid-late game)

Nashor's Tooth - Yup it gives some attack speed, Mana Regen. and CDR, but it's pretty useless in the long run.

Malady - I have never needed this but it is a pretty good item if the enemy is stacking a bit of MR.

Max out Alpha Strike, then Meditate, then Highlander, and finally Wuju Style (Q,W,R,E) Nuff said.

So you have a simple, yet effective Master Yi build. Use it to beat the **** out of that AD Yi on the other side.
