AZIR SUPPORT 🦅
Why pick azir support?
Because Azir is incredibly fun. He gets to poke like a madman, fly around, engage and has insane outplay potential with the shurima shiffle.
Why does he work support?
His poke is nuts
You can fend off the enemy laners, prevent them from CSing and gaining XP level 1.
You can't snare his soldiers. You can play like a zed but actually have a soul.
For me, Azir hits a sweet spot. I love kiting, auto-ing with high AS, and I love having dashes, doing flashy-but-useful combos. Azir has it all.

does it work?
YES.
It works incredibly well, he's very versatile.
But he relies on having power. This guide will show you how to build and play azir to offset the low-income from support and still be able to have a fun, usable support and team fighting role in the game.

WHATS THE STRATEGY?
Statmaxxing.
No, not having 700 AP. We are talking about maximising how many stats we have, making them all useful. But not by just buying everything.
In comes Jack of all trades
Jack of all trades is a rune that allows you to collect JACK stacks.
Jack: For each Jack stack, gain 1 ability haste. At 5 Jack stacks, gain 6 bonus Attack Damage or 10 Ability Power (Adaptive). At 10 Jack stacks, gain an additional 9 bonus Attack Damage or 15 Ability Power (Adaptive), for a total of 15 bonus Attack Damage or 25 Ability Power (Adaptive) at 10 Jack stacks.
TL;DR - Each new stat type you build grants 1 Ability haste, at 5 you get a bonus 6AD/10AP, at 10 you gain more extra, totalling to 15AD/25AP.
We are going to rush the first 10 stacks with the cheapest items possible without wasting said items, we aren't just going to buy the random cheapest items, they'll fit in to our build.
Support is the perfect role
Why? Because the support item 'World Atlas' gives us 3 stacks off the bat. Mix that with merc treads and we are over halfway there, even easier with slightly magical footwear.
Now let's get to the rest.
First strike and magical footwear help alleviate the gold deficit the support role generally has. Joat provides us extra stat value for free, giving us damage and haste without having to build it, this offsets supports weaknesses too. Maybe not perfectly, but enough to make a difference.

This is still WIP.
I'll be adding and improving this over time.
