Master Yi

Melee champions can cause issues for Aurelion Sol. Once they're inside your passive, the only way you can effectively damage them is with your Q and ult. Your Q is moderately effective but there's a slight delay if you try to instantly detonate it, and your ult won't always be up. When it is up, it's the best way to get rid of these guys.

Yi can be the hardest to deal with out of them all and he's probably the guy you least want to find yourself against in the jungle. His ult basically makes your passive irrelevant, as Rylai's won't slow him and he'll easily outrun both you and your rings.

Jax

As with Yi and the other melee champs you might find yourself running into in the, you just have to be careful and keep your distance. Without your ult to clear them out, your best option is a quick Q stun and running away.

Veigar

Aurelion Sol is pretty squishy, so finding yourself against champs that can deal concentrated magic damage from a long range isn't great. Make sure to keep your distance and make the most of your W when possible.

Xerath

Tahm Kench

Both Tanks and Marksmen can struggle against Aurelion Sol. When it comes to tanks, they're often slow enough that you can constantly harass them with your pass and W dealing continuous damage, while they're unable to get to you.

Ashe

When it comes to Marksmen, you're often able to play them at their own game and hit them from afar with both your Q and W. If they try to take you on up close, you've normally got your passive around to help you.
