Hello! I am Lex, a platinum mid player(opgg) and I've been having fun playing Bardo mid! My friend DuleSS picked up Bardo a while back, and the champion has always been super fun to play with, but it was time to take it to another level

So, you probably think this is another troll pick... Well it's not, while I wouldn't play it in ranked, I think its stronger than some actual mid lane picks.
Pros:

People always underestimate your damage, they forget that you're a mid laner so they always seem to ignore you (if you position yourself correctly).
Your lane is pretty easy, unless playing vs someone that can burst you down in 2 seconds, you shouldn't have many problems!
Remember you can block the heralds charge with your R!
You always have your majestic beard to look at!

Cons:

If you're playing against a strong burst champ ( Annie, Akali, etc) your lane can be really hard, since you're very squishy
Your team might flame you (but who gives a **** anyways)
You're very immobile in lane
No AD scaling (but we can make it work)

So, you got through the champ select, time to crush the enemy mid laner!

Buy what you feel like, everything works when you're Bardo
Make sure to play safe and farm! Utilize your E to help your jungler at the scuttler (spawns 3:15). Also poke whenever you can, but make sure not to lose too much HP from the minions

By this point you should have your mythic item and 1-2 core items. Time to start dishing out damage.

First things first, this is the time you leave your lane, you either ARAM with da bois, or just perma roam, since most matchups have enough power to kill you if you make a mistake.

Make sure to fight with your team (at least in groups of 3). Bardo alone provides a lot of utility for his team, but this build allows you to dish out consistent damage since its not your priority to peel for the ADC anymore, nothing special to write here, ult their jungler when your or their team is doing drake (to prevent or allow steals, depending on your situation) and dominate.

By this point you have all of your core items, nothing to do except follow fights and play as you usually would. Best part of this stage of the game is that everyone will expect of you to be a fat, chonky and squishy hunk of meat, but you will show them the true power of the Bardo

Make sure to type ggez after each win.
