Okay, so this is my first build/guide, so please dont go crazy if you see something that lookes odd, this is the way I build him, and that has been working pretty good for me =D. Enjoy, any comments, ideas, etc. will be accepted.

In a faraway place known as Lokfar there was a seafaring marauder called Kegan Rodhe. As was his people’s way, Kegan sailed far and wide with his fellows, stealing treasures from those unlucky enough to catch their attention. To some, he was a monster; to others, just a man. One night, as they sailed through the arctic waters, strange lights danced over the frozen wastes. There was something hypnotic about them; it was something that drew them to it like moths to a flame. Trekking across the frozen waste, they came to a cave covered in ancient runes. The meaning of the runes long lost to them, Kegan led the way inside. There, inside a perfect cage of ice floated a dancing column of flame. There was no way such a thing should be burning, especially not in this place. However, its movement was as hypnotic as a siren's song, captivating and seductive. While the others stayed back, Kegan could not help but approach it while holding out his hand...

That is the last thing Kegan Rodhe remembers, for now his body belongs to Brand. It is a creature of olden times, perhaps even a casualty of the Rune Wars. It is known in ancient texts as the Burning Vengeance. It is a creature of pure fiery hate that exists for no other reason than to lay low the world of men and yordles. No one is quite sure how Brand found his way to Valoran, but he began his predations at once. Overcome by Demacian forces, he was given a choice: fight within the confines of the League or die. Naturally, he chose to use his destructive powers in the League, for now...

Great Farmer early-mid and mid-late game
Amazing Damage
Good early harrasment
Cool champion animations =)
Nice stun
Very good at team fights

CONS
Squishy
Ability power doesn't empower him as much as other mages
No escaping technics
Gotta try him before buyng, so you get used to him
Really dependant on CDR and MagicPen

Ok, so items:

Morello's Evil Tome-- i first grab an Amplifying tome to get taht nice Ap boost at the beginning (together with a health pot). You REALLY, and i say REALLY, because its truly important. The CDR is extremelly useful and wayyy important, this will give you great advantage, so you start your killing spree. Plus, you need the mana regen, you comsume a lot of it...

Sorcerer shoes-- nice shoes for magicpen. FYI his passive goes with magicpen, not ability power, so this will give you other excellente boost to keep on your killing spree.

Void Staff-- again, magicpen is what you need for now, this is just AWESOME!!!! MAGIGPEN = WIN. Besides, you are still a mage, you NEED ability power, just because your passive doesnt go with it, doesnt mean you wont get any, NO... GET IT!!

Rod of Ages-- one of my favourites items in the game, i mean, its just great. You get survivavility, mana, and ability power. Plus after 10 minutes, you will get a tone more of this (because of its passive). MAN SIMPLY AWESOME!

Rabbadon's Deathcap-- what can i say, HUGE AMOUNT of ability power, you need it, you are a mage... dont leave it behind, HELL NO!!!

Haunting Guise-- okay so this is a nice item, its kindof situational. If you are getting many kills (most likely) and wanna leave some survivavility behind, you can get other void staff. But if you are not sure about it, get a Haunting Guise, good health, and more magicpen.

Meljai's Soulstealer-- i dont use this item very much, just because its kindof gambling. I mean you will get many kills, so a tone of Ap, but if you dont (not likely) you wont. Plus, your main goal isnt Ap, is magicpen. Neverthelss, at 20 stacks it gives you a nice amount of CDR, wich is AWESOME.

Rylais Crystal Scepter-- very VERY nice item, great slow, Ap and health. Dont use it much, dunno way... But if you wanna avoid getting killed and/or dindt get to kill the other champion and its running away, get this, works good.

Spirit visage-- just in case you are getting killed a lot, plus really good CDR, magic resist and health regen.

Mercury's treads-- just in case you are against CC opponents. For example SION, Akali, Ashe, etc.
Boots of speed-- if you wanna give up the extra magicpen, and get some more speed, sure get this boots.

So, i have seen many Brands leveling up their W first... not cool. So if you wanna be sure you will harras the other champion properly get your E, so you avoid getting your skillshot first.
So ill say, have in mind:
1st-- Pyroclasm(Ulti):Brand unleashes a devastating torrent of fire, dealing damage each time it bounces. If a target is ablaze, Pyroclasm's missile speed increases. Of course, level this up WHENEVER YOU CAN.

2nd-- Conflagration(E):Brand conjures a powerful blast at his target, dealing magic damage to them. If the target is ablaze, the conflagration spreads to nearby enemies.- You should max this skill first, so you get a better farming, and better HARRASMENT.

3rd-- Pillar of flame(W):After a short delay, Brand creates a pillar of flame at a target area, dealing magic damage to enemy units with the area. Units that are ablaze take additional damage. So, i think this is your killing skill, because of the HUGE amount of damae dealth to the enemy if it was ablaze. Man, it just makes you feel better when you see other cahmpions get their live sto the havle with just 2 clicks... =D STILL THE TARGET NEED TO BE ABLAZE TO GET THAT HUGE EXTRA AMOUNT OF DAMAGE.

4th-- Sear(Q):Brand launches a ball of fire forward that deals magic damage. If the target is ablaze, the target will be stunned. Really nice skill, although its a skillshot, so hard to land at times. Use it to stun your target... NICE STUN BTW =D

So, Brand is totally a combo based champion, though his great damge output, he needs the other abilities to make it work. This is why you need the CDR so much, never sotp spamming your abilities.
Then, my combo is:
Conflagation--Sear--Conflgration--Pillar of flame--Conflagration--Ulti or Pillar of flames, depending on how much health the enemy has left, and/or if there is more than one enemy vs me. This just brings them down. If its a hard bone, keep on and start all over again, adn SLAIN AN ENEMY!!

Cool, i think this is pretty much obvious... what is better than fire? MORE FIRE, of course you wanna get your ignite to give the enemy the finishing blow in case he has a lil' too much health than he should have had... o.O. But seriously get it, works awesome with him, extreamely awesome!!

Then Flash, in case you are:
1.- trying to run away, and BAM you flashed through a wall, and went bacl to safety
2.- for the enemy champion who is about to die, but is out of range for any of your abilities... BAM flashed and you get a kill... cool huh? =D

Ghost: this and flash, will make you un-killable. AWESOME ESCAPE TACTICS, specially for Brand, who, has none... lol

Teleport: good for ganking and hurrying up to a lane, specially because arent that fast

Exhaust: nice so you can get to kill the enemy and avoid him to runaway, but mostly, you will have no need to do this becasue you have a stun, plus you will kill in matter of seconds... sooooooooo nice but there are better

Cleanse: just in case you are against a string CC team... but... nah.

Brand is an excellent farmer, you can take the range minions pretty fast with your AoE skills.
So what i do is:
1.- Use my W to ablaze minions, then use E to finish them.
2.- TO maximize this, you use your Q on one minion, then your E on the same minion you hit before so the ablaze will expand to the surrounding creeps. Finally use your W to finish them off.
ITS JUST CRAZY HOW HE CAN GET MINIONS THAT FAST.

TIP: at the earky game try not to use your skills too much to last hit, try using your basis attacks, so you will avoid going OOM. Just use skills when you have plenty of mana, just sayin' so you avoid going bacl to base taht often.

Well, i hope you have enjoyed reading my build/guide, as much as i did makeing it.
Brand is REALLY fun to play, but you will need to get the hang out of him, becasue he aint taht easy. But overall AMAZING CHAMPION, actaully he is one of my favourites uo to now =D.
