I recommend you "try before you buy" meaning don't vote until you see the results.
For a more in depth guide to summoner spells for this Champion I recommend Duk3star's "Is It Hot In Here? Or Is It Just Brand"
This build, however, covers the following:
-Pros & Cons
-Runes & Their Effect
-Character Maxes

-Combo sequence
-Play Style
For skill sequence and masteries please refer top the top.
Character Max described the max amount of AP this character can achieve, through masteries, runes, and items at LVL 18.
Minimun AP output (with items +AP): 535
Maximum AP output (with Soulstealer bonus, Rabadon's Deathcap passive + Archmage's Savvy [Mastery]): 918
At this time I cannot stress how important it is to stack up Soulstealer's bonuses. This is why it is the first item on my list as Brand can easily dismantle an enemy opponent early game. This provided a conventional boost that will last up until endgame. However, there is a drawback. If you do not kill enemies early in the game you will remain at a low AP until you gather enough money to bolster it.

Here is a quick guide for what to buy and how much it will be. This is the optimal route but you can choose your own. Note that you can combine purchases and I highly recommend it if you have the cash (which you should because you should be gettin' kills)

There are two combo sequences to keep in mind; primary and secondary.
Primary Sequence (Essential for facing 1v1 or 1v2):
-This sequence is quick and allows for Sears stun to work after Conflagration. Since the target is ablaze Pillar of Fire receives a 25% increase. If you're opponent runs, finish them off with the Ultimate. Don't be afraid to use you're Ultimate either at it will regenerate quickly.
Conflagration > Sear > Pillar of Fire > Ultimate*
*Ultimate may not be required.
Secondary Sequence (Effective for group battles)
-This sequence implements group damage by throwing out Pillar of Fire, to set targets ablaze, a quick decision targeting with Sear, Conflagration to damage nearby enemies, and the Ultimate to quickly round up the survivors.
Pillar of Fire > Sear > Conflagration > Ultimate*

The play style for Brand is simple: keep your distance.
Being so strong you will be subject to many gank attempts, do not fear and remember your secondary sequence.
You can easily scare away opponents with a couple of well placed spells. Keep this in mind and toy with you victims. Throw out a Sear to bring them down a few hundred HP. They will tend to remain in battle. Wait for an opportunity to throw out your primary sequence and blow them up. This is a good way to ensure you kill your enemy instead of having them run off to heal.
When you throw out a combo put some distance between you and the enemy. You are only dangerous when your spells are ready and they know this. Your quickened cooldown should ensure you are battle ready in a matter of mere seconds.
If you need to escape quickly flash out of there or ghost our way out. Since you are the subject of ganks these two spells are incredibly valuable.
