This character is a ranged nightmare if you play him right. His attacks are based more on combos with the "ablaze" effect that is put on by your skills it is an over time burn damage effect. If you cant chain together the right attack sequence you can wipe your enemy out without even a scratch with this build. Usually i take mid when I'm using brand. Your also gonna wanna take advantage of the Ghost speed boost and the exhaust slow to execute your combos better.

Alright heres a breakdown on my usual spell set .. your going to want pillar of flame for some nice lane control and possible damage to your opponent. The usual combo i go with when im attacking heros is Conflagration, then Sear for the stun and pillar of flame for some massive damage due to the "abalze" effect your spells cause and if you cant fit in pyroclasm hit it up especially when there is more than 1 hero. For lane control purposes go with pillar of flame and then pyroclasm for the spreading damage and ablaze effect if you space it right you can pillar of flame a group and even if it misses the hero you can still hit them with the conflagration

Although brand is a powerhouse he is quite squishy if you get trapped in a stun with 2 or more enemies your probably done. Another pro is that his ablaze effect stays on for a pretty long time which can get those really close kills in. Also the Pyroclasm spell has nice range on the bounce and bounces around quite a bit causing some massive damage.

Your going to want to follow this sequence because it maximizes the efficiency at times of need for ability power and spell penetration to give you the boost you need to make quick powerful hits with your spells. Usually i sell the Doran's ring by the time i get the giants belt.
