I made this guide because all the caitlyns I see go for attack speed first when you need damage first. I decided it's time for me to make this guide to help you guys play caitlyn a lot better.

Caitlyn needs the attack damage per level so you can get even more damage. The mana regen runes are there because i noticed Caitlyn seems to always be mana dead without them.

I went with these masteries since with AD carries you want to crit for all your enemy's hp. I got greed because that one gold per 10 will help you get those more expensive items in the build.

I went with these items because it's a good combination of a lot of damage and still having a high enough crit and attack speed to kill your enemy. The frozen mallet is for the health and slow mostly and you never know when that extra damage could help.

I get the Q first for the harras ability and because it's helpful to shoot in groups if you're not quite in the fight yet. I didn't level up the trap before the net because i'd rather have them slowed longer and be able to use it more often than have a hit or miss with a trap.

I got flash because if your in one of those moments where you're on the bad side of everything with the net on a cooldown so u can just flash over a wall. I also got clarity for that one moment when you're out of mana and if you ulti them they will die.

Again, I made this build guide for everyone who has been wanting to play caitlyn but can't figure out what to build, what masteries and runes to have. You can modify this to fit your needs better and get the items in a different way or not even use this at all, it's your choice. One more thing, you don't want to use your Q in a team fight because it's a self stun and you could get dominated if you don't know what your doing, and you also will have a faster damage output with auto attacks rather than just sit there and use your Q.
