As a beginner it was hard to find an easy champ who could lay out masses of damage. One week Caitlyn was free and i found she was op as hell while still being an easy champ. Her range on her ult is excellent whilst her traps are great for blocking off ganking lanes and sealing kills. They are also used great as wards as they show a small range of their surroundings. Her 90 caliber net is great for getaways as it slows your enemy and pushes you away from them. The attack speed in this build is in order to trigger her passive more often which can deal a lot more damage. It works every 3 attacks and can mean the difference between getting a kill and the person getting away.

Her Q is great for farming minions and it's range is great.
Her traps are good for blocking off ganking lanes
Her e is good for getaways.
Her ult is great for finishing off enemies as they are running away because of it's great range

Her ult and her Q have a delay and her ult is easily cancelled.
She is also a bit squishy so make sure you stay toward the back in team fights.
it is good to use ult whilst in a bush.
Also make sure no one runs in the way of the ult or else you might not get the kill.
