First of all, sorry about my language, but english is not my native language. I hope that you'll understand what I want to tell you.

So, Caitlyn is the new champion in League of Legends, added in patch v1.0.0.108 . You can buy her at the price of 6300 Influence Points or 975 Riot Points (10.00 EURO). Caitlyn is a ranged dps hero, better on line (because of brushes) than mid.

My choices are:
- 9 piece of Greater Mark of Strenght
- 9 piece of Greater Glyph of Furor
- 9 piece of Greater Seal of Alacrity
- 3 piece of Greater Quintessence of Desolation


Of course, everybody can change this rune, depends on his preferences.

Because the attack is the most important feature of Caitlyn, 21 points of masteries should be spent in Offense.
From the start, you earn 2% of critical chance from Deadliness, 4% increased attack speed, +4 damage to minions (enormous at level 1, better farming), +3 attack damage to all creatures (including champions), +10% critical strike damage to all creatures, and base damage increased by 5%, due to final mastery, Havoc.
The other 9 points of masteries, should be spent in Utility tab.
You earn 4% health and mana regeneration, 5% increased the amount of mana, and 1 mana per second regeneration.

These are masteries for a good start. Remember, Caitlyn depends on how you manage your character in early game, is crucial.

For a good game with Caitlyn, you must follow the next steps, that surely grant you a truely pwnage.

In early game, you must buy immediatelyDagger, which cost 420 gold and onehealth potion. It's a good start for a good farming, because theDagger adds you 15% attack speed, so you can farm fast. (try not to use last hit when you are with a melee champion, for god sake :d) Thehealth potion grants you health regen, when you are above half health.
Try to be a real farmer, pushing the line. Return to summoner chamber after you destroy a tower, of course, if it's posible. If isn't, return periodicaly to buy some new items that can boost you.Berseker Greaves wait you, granting movement speed and cost only 920 gold. of course, much less because you already have boughtDagger. After that, you should buy fast yourSword of the Ocult and start to gank, top, middle or bottom, depends on your side. That will grant you stack forSword of the Ocult. You gain a bonus of 5 attack damage per stack (100 attack damage at 20 stacks) and 15% increased movement speed when you are at 20 stacks.
In middle game, you must buyMadred's Bloodrazor andPhantom Dancer orFrozen Malet. You can choose between these 2 items. If you want more attack speed, go and buy Phantom Dancer, or if you want a bit more health, to resist more, buy Frozen Malet. Once you complete these items, you are on a good way toInfinity Edge and, optional,The Bloodthrister.

In my opinion, you msut concentrate onPiltover Peacemaker andYordle Snap Trap. These skill combination could offer you a easy kill. Get 1 skill points in90 Caliber Net at level 2, because this is the only chance to escape from a dificult situation, due to his recoil action.
At levels 6, 11 and 16, learn and upgrade your ultimate,Ace in the Hole. This is the most important spell of a champion, and Caitlyn good catch a champion that want to run, and kill him.

The best choice in my opinion for Caitlyn is:
- Ghost
- Exhaust
Ghost - Your Champion ignores unit collision and moves 27% faster for 14 seconds. Very good for chasing and for escape.
Exhaust - Reduces a target's Attack Damage by 70%, Ability/Item damage by 35% and slows its Movement Speed by 40% for 3 seconds. 550 Range


If you are noob, at think that I made a mistake with Exhaust, please read patch notes.

Pros:
- Good farmer.
- Good ultimate.
- Ranged.
- Huge Damage.

Cons:
- Easy killed.
- Primary target in most of cases.
- Low amount of mana.

Caitlyn passive spell is called: Headshot.

Headshot - Every 8 attacks (attacks while in brush count as 2), Caitlyn will fire a headshot, dealing either 150% damage to a champion or 250% damage to a minion.

For good results at farming, please do not stay mid, take top or bottom, and use the brushes to gain to stacks, earning 8 limit much faster.

I played 4 or 5 matches with Caitlyn, and this is my opinion about her. Every day, I will update this build to do a great one. I think this is a standard build, for players who want to play with Caitlyn, and don't know anything. But, do not scare, I'll help you.

This is a basic build, an easy one, for all kind of players. My experience with Caitlyn is too short for a "legendary build". But, in the next few days, maybwe weeks, I'll edit periodically this build.
So, at the end, some advices.

1. Try to no go on mid side. It is better for you to start farming on line, brushes will help you very, very much to gain that stacks. When the "Headshot" is ready, think fast where should him go. On a champion, or on a minion with average to high health. Personally, I prefer to harass champions. They could catch fear of you, play more defensive and prudent, go base more often, and then, you are able to farm better, without many problems.
Remember, Caitlyn is an early game champion, that could lose her abilities in late game, if you aren't able to grow fast. So, you must start fine, if you want to do a long and cursive game, at the best potential.

Beacuse Caitlyn is a hero that could be killed easily, use you Yordle Snap Trap to have vision in different spooky places. Do the same thing as Teemo. It's a good method to avoid some deaths in early game.

When you are in a hard situation, you can use your 90 Caliber Net to escape. That one, slows the fisrt enemy that encounters and push Caitlyn back, due to his recoil. Just lauch the net in the other direction. He will both slow the enemy and you will have the chance to escape.

If you are top or bottom, use brushes for gaining the Headshot more often. 3 attack from the brush an 1 outside the brush will grant you this effect. (3*2+1=7) = HEADHSOOOT !
