UPDATES
I added the Updates section to the build
I changed the purchase order of Trinity Force and Frozen Mallet
04/02/2011
I changed the health Quints into Attack Speed Quints
10/02/2011
I replaced Phantom Dancer with The Black Cleaver because The Black Cleaver now grants Attack Speed (I just found out =P) and the Armor Penetration should help a bit more
I edited the Notes section

I changed the Mastery Tree
This build shows you my way to play the latest champion of the League. It is based on Attack Damage and Attack Speed.
Before Caitlyn was released I thought she may be a hybrid character. I was not completely wrong.
I focus on damage and speed though.
Flash is just an excellent way to escape spells for example Veigar's Cage or Pantheons Ultimate and it can also save you from being ganked by characters with stuns (Sion, Taric).
Ghost gives you the extra speed boost for chasing an opponnent or escaping them. Do not forget to skill Haste in Utility.
Seals: Here I go for Mana Regeneration /5 secs. I noticed that one of Caitlyns biggest problems is her low mana/mana regen.
Glyphs: In Glyphs I take Cooldown Reduction. I guess I do not need to explain why.
Quintessences: I take Health Quints because Caitlyn is like Ashe a very squishy character.
I start with a Doran's Blade and a Mana Potion. I keep my mana and look for last-hitting minions.
The Black Cleaver is my first item after my Berserker's Greaves. The extra attack speed helps me farming gold for my bigger items but also grants a small amount of Armor Penetration.
My second item is Last Whisper. It gives me a big Armor Penetration and Attack Damage boost so I can get my enemys down more quickly.
The next two items are The Bloddthirster (lets my Piltover Peacemaker make more damage and gives me Life Steal) and Frozen Mallet. Caitlyns other big problem is her low-health. Frozen Mallet will cope with this problem and also slow your enemys.
The last item I choose is Trinity Force (His passive is just awesome for Caitlyn). On cast it makes your next attack deal 150% damage equal to your base damage. On hit it can also slow your opponnent by 35% with a chance of 25%. And yes it does stack with the slow of Frozen Mallet.
(Trinity Force also gives you more mana, more life, attack damage and attack/movement speed.)
In every game focus on last-hitting minions (remind your passive and try to shoot out of a bush) and harrasing your opponnent without being harrassed. Caitlyn is too squishy for early 1v1.
I wont say more to "How to..." you need to experience yourself how to handle her.
I did not choose the Skill Sequence like I do ingame. I dont remember which skill I can skill at which level.
Remember to skill every skill til lvl 3 and then max your Q-spell followed by a maxed Yordle trap. Max your net last.
Boots
The boots I choose don't fit in every situation. You need to get your boots depending on your opponnents. Sometimes you will need Mercury Treads or Boots of Swiftness. Ionian Boots of Lucidity are not worthy (your CD are low enough and avoiding CC's or boosting your movement/attack speed is more important). Just watch your enemy team and buy the boots who fit best.
