How to Play Camille
Here is a video i made on how to play her. This video outlines basic gameplay and role potential.
When playing Camille in the top lane you want to be looking for short trades that utilise her long early game cooldown windows. Trade with:
- Qa - W - Qb for a basic combo.
- E - QWQ for a full engage trade combo.
Try not to use your E too much as its your most valuable spell, allowing you to engage, or run away. The cooldown is pretty massive though, so when you use it at early levels you have to wait 15 seconds to use it again. That means you can get ganked super easy.
Once you hit your Tri-force or Cleaver Spike, you gain 20% CDR which makes your life a lot easier, but still bear the principle in mind.
Once the initial lane phase is over, look to split push down towers and make impact on the map with good usage of Teleport. With your Q and sheen proc, you can melt down towers. You are incredible at duelling as well, so you shouldnt have much trouble dealing with the opposing top laner. Its imperative you use your E wisely at this stage, as you cant afford to die when split pushing by being collapsed on.
When teamfights ensue, usually over objectives, Teleport in, and make good use of R to isolate and dismantle their carries.
Its important to note, unless you build super tanky, you wont survive just straight up diving their backline without help, you'll die before you can kill the carries. Instead look for the carries mispositioning and THEN go for them, or wait for a hard engage on your team where you wont be focused down.
