Zilean has a 120 sec. cooldown on his passive. I don't use it before my ADC hits LvL 6 because I am farming the XP, so when he hits LvL 5, I can give him LvL 6 as soon as possible. That can give you an advantage most of the times.
Combos:
E -> Q -> W -> Q
Q -> W -> Q
( You can throw one Q, wait untill it is between 6 and 9, throw another Q. Then do the same thing again. It will reactivate and you can do it many times. This doesn't work on minions very well, because they die from your first Q -> W -> Q Combo. )
Pros:
- "Chronoshift" (R) played correctly at the right moment can completely change the game
- His passive "Time in a Bottle" can help turn around a losing lane by boosting teammates experience
- Can reposition quickly or rush to a fight using his "Time Warp" (E)
- Great poke and zoning potential in lane due to his "Time Bomb" (Q)
Cons:
- Susceptible to silence effects
- It’s hard to take full advantage of Zilean’s abilities
- Squishy
- Most of Zilean’s abilities are skill shots
