Champion Build Guide
The build is from Nubrac's op.gg and I got permission from Nubrac to make this guide.
Nubrac is a Grandmaster tier player in NA who plays a lot of Teemo support. Many games, he has found that playing as a support with the mid or top laner (not taking CS, just pushing the minions, attacking and killing the enemy mid laner like a support would in bot lane) is more effective than playing with the ADC.
It can work well because he goes mid or top when he can win 2 vs 1 against the enemy in that lane harder than his ADC will lose 1 v 2 vs the enemy ADC and support. You don't always need to go to a different lane with Teemo support, but it can be a viable strategy, as Nubrac has shown by playing it in high Elo.
He streams on https://www.twitch.tv/famousnubrac as well
Nubrac is still trying to figure out exactly why he was banned. Hopefully he figures out whether Riot thinks this is okay or not soon, as generally different or off-meta playstyles are considered okay as long as you are communicating with your team and playing to win.
1. Get your mid laner ahead. Level 1, go invisible in the lane, and pop out and try to kill the enemy mid after they waste their spell level one or walk up too far. Be careful not to die to the enemy mid, but punish them as hard as possible so they find it difficult to CS.
2. Help your mid laner push and get pressure on the enemy tower. Help them get vision and roam around and help your jungler, and roam when you see opportunities to help your jungler, top laner and bot laner. You are the whole team's support. Once you are level 6, cover the important choke points with mushrooms. Track the enemy jungler.
3. Play the game as a regular Teemo support, just be more flexible with the lanes you help to maximize your win potential. Look for more resources on Teemo support in general to learn how to play Teemo better. You don't have to go to a different lane, although that's what this guide is about. Sometimes you might have the best chance of winning if you can beat the enemy bot lane in the 2 v 2.
