Hello! This is Reverend Joe Mug (NA) bringing you the best in J4 guides.

Why Jarvan??

Jarvan in my opinion is one of the best tank/fighters in the game, with great crowd control and map presence, and his ganks are top notch if executed correctly( See Ganking Chapter). Jarvan is great with chase/escape with his E-Q combo that can take you over any terrain.

Pros / Cons

Pros

-Great Ganks

-Devastating Ultimate for team fights
-Quick Jungle Clear

Cons
-

Runes

-Quints of lifesteal combined with Jarvan's knock up and W will provide great sustain in early jungle, allowing you to save multiple pots after first buy and jungle clear.
-Flat/Scaling Armor Seals for dampened physical damage from minions and monsters, aswell as anyone who dares enter your jungle.
-Flat Armor Marks
-Flat CDR(Cooldown Reduction) Helps you take advantage of J4's utility, and CC filled kit.

Masteries

9-21-0 Is in my opinion the most effective tank build for J4 giving him increased health in number and percent, reduced physical and magic damage, reduced slows and 15% tenacity combined with [*] Spirit of The Ancient Golemn allows Jarvan to be an unstoppable crowd controlling tank.

Skill Sequence

E is the best first max for Jarvan if you are looking for a tank specialization.
Afterwards you max W for full utilization of the shield and slow combo.
