This is my first guide so i hope i did good on it. Galio is one of the more powerful champs if people actually know how to build him. This guide has helped me do more than prove a point that you shouldn't linger in the lane with a galio nearby. His Resolute Smite has sniped more that just that straggler pantheon in the lane. It is good for slowing the kill to secure it for the carries or get the kill for yourself. His ultimate alone is one of the best defenses in a GIANT team-fight anywhere, taunts all the people, hurting them with thornmail and then just bursting them down, PENTAKILL.

These items dont really build Galio as the Tank people would expect, but more as the Armor tank that doesn't care how much health he has. With Armor and Magic Resist like this, who needs 4000 health. The Little thornmail is just for the team-fight ult, just to draw more damage off of you and turning it back towards the enemies. The Chalice if for just when you need to use more spells in the fight, galio doesn't have the greatest auto-attack damage output but with the chalice he is able to defend himself with the magic resist and can fight back with powerful spells during early game. The guardian Angel is just to help more in a team-fight, if you cant get your ult off in time, you get a second chance to make it count. The abyssal scepter is for obvious reasons, magic resist and AP for you and your spells will hurt more to the enemies. Merc treds, everyone needs a little speed, the tenacity and the magic resist help galio a bunch and when he needs to run they are the best choice against people with CC. The Force of Nature is just to help stay in the lanes longer after a brutal team-fight with little survivors it gives the health regen that you need when there is a conflict after Baron.

Ghost and Flash, unusual maybe. But with the Ghost you can cross the map quick to help the team somewhere else and better for a quick get-away. Now you may be wondering that flash is for the same thing, yes and no. Flash makes Galio a very effective starter for a team-fight anywhere in the map. with the Flash ult combo it draws the enemies to the full health armored galio and away from the carries. giving more time for the carries to do their job quickly.

This is my average skill order, Max Q And grab a point in W & E. Getting the Max on resolute smite first makes galio very effective at early game damage output along with the slow if he is laning with a carry. The whole reason of grabbing a point in Bulwark but maxing it last is just for the ability of giving your teammate that little extra armor and magic resist for engaging. his E is best used for grabbing the line of minions marching to their death with some early damage to them.
