Intro

Hey guys, this is my first build here on mobafire so dont expect anything too fancy!
However you can expect a great guide on how to build and use Talon effectively and get games of 2 or less deaths.

This guide focuses mainly on keeping Talon alive with some tankyness from the quints and items. When i use this build i never have mana issues, if you do simply B and you can get back in the fight quick because Talon has a very high movement speed.

Skill Sequence

You may be thinking to yourself, this is a weird way to build Talon's skills, his main harassment skill, rake, won't do much damage because you aren't leveling it up!

I get this first solely for the purpose of another debuff to fuel his passive early game and the small harassment it can give.

I max cut throat first because it will amplify your next attack, which goes perfect with noxian diplomacy due to its added damage and then it all ties up with his passive.

Items

Getting boots plus 3 health pots early game gives you a lot of health and really good movement speed, this way you can be more sustainable in lane. At level 6 i usually go back (if not sooner if i have used my health pots) to buy berserker grieves giving me over 1 attack speed by level 6.
*I don't get mercs treads solely because i have cleanse, however you can get them instead of the grieves if the enemies have a lot of debuffs*

After getting the boots and all, i rush phage. This will give you some tanky-ness from the ruby crystal and it will have a chance to slow enemies on hit which will trigger your passive allowing you to do a lot more damage, I will go in to the burst combos later in this guide!

Next I rush frozen mallet, for this will put you at over 2k health at level 10 making you very tanky and able to take a lot more hits. Also it will always slow the target you are attacking which synergizes perfectly with your passive.

Youmuu's GhostBlade is there to give you more armor pen and cooldown reduction to allow your ult to get back quickly

Atma's Impaler is a great item for this build. This is because we are building a lot of hp for Talon which will play perfectly for the AD bonus. Also it gives you a nice armor bonus! Yay!

Madreds is there to help you tear through tanks and plus it will give you MOAR ARMOR! Yay!

Finally Banshees veil is great due to its mana and hp bonuses making you more tanky and will block a spell in clutch times. If you want you can get this earlier, like before youmuu's if you are really getting focused and feel sad.

Masteries

This set up may look weird to you, but hey I'm one for originality if you haven't noticed already.

However these masteries give you some tanky-ness which will be nice to have since you will be getting focused once the enemies see how good you have built yourself

Burst/Combos/How to play

I told you I'd go in to more detail and here it is.

Early game combo, Levels 3-5:
Cut Throat (E) -> Rake (W) -> Noxian Diplomacy (Q) -> Auto attack
This will be a good bursty combo that can harass well due to the blink of cut throat, silence and slow.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
Later early game combos, levels 6-11:
E (Cut throat) -> R (Shadow Assault) -> Q (Noxian Diplomacy while still stealthed) -> W (Rake) -> Auto attack
This combo will give shadow assault a lot of damage because of cut throats damage amplifier.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
R (When next to the enemy) -> E (To get behind enemy so all of your blades to damage + amplifier) -> W -> Q -> Auto Attack
This combo will make sure you get the most hits out of shadow assault while allowing you to avoid damage while stealthed.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
Late game combos, Levels 12+
Youmuu's GhostBlades Active -> E -> W -> Q -> Auto Attack (if they try to run use R to gain more movement speed then get on them and auto attack)
This combo will pretty much kill anyone once you have all the items 1v1 if they try to flash be sure to chase with your R and then your auto attacks will slow them down and your speed will be fast enough to hit, run after, hit, hit, hit.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
Team fight combo:
FOCUS SQUISHY:
E -> Auto attack -> Q -> W -> Chase with R
The main thing about this combo is to get off a slow with the auto attack early on the squishy so they don't run out of the fight or into more team mates, since you can easily take any squishy
______________________________________________________________________________________________
Getting attacked in team fight:
W -> Cleanse -> R Retreat until someone else (your tank hopefully) is attacked -> E -> Q -> Auto Attack
This is to slow attackers then to get the attention off you so you can live longer, your R does do damage though so it will benefit if you have a few people attacking you. Also cleanse is in there to get off debuffs before you stealth and get away
______________________________________________________________________________________________

One final note: Remember to use cleanse, IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE
