The highest Elo i ever reached was Master and in season 12 i was the Rank 121 best Volibear on the EuW Server Click here and my highest Win- Rate was 63% in Diamond! I think when it comes to Volibear, i have some legitimate grounds to talk and drop guides about this Champion!

I am an Educational Content-Build Creator but also an Entertaining Content Creator. My goal is to educate and create the BEST Builds for my main champions Wukong, Volibear and Yone. Volibear with this build is easy, the only thing you need to do is to FOCUS on ganking to get your laners ahead and play around Objectives as you win by destroying the Nexus, not by killing people!

Nothing will stop you, nothing will win against you, they only thing they will ever feel is FEAR from your insane damage!

Why should you play Volibear?
Besides the fact, that Volibear is now one of the best Junglers and is sitting on a 52.86% Win Ratio, why would play him? Well Volibear is relativily easy to learn and mechanically super easy to master. He is a great Teamfighter because of his Ultimate and his abilities are straight foreward, his combo is incredibly easy to pull off. He has strong ganking power with his "Q" ability, that does also good damage and even a slow on his "E" ability that lasts for two seconds. He then has survivability in his Kit with his W and Ultimate, healing him and granting him even more HP.

However Volibear is a very item dependant Champion. He really needs his Items in order to succeed. Also he can be kited pretty easy and therefore you should build items with movementspeed on Volibear Jungle which will make him less kitable! He also falls off in the late. His real power is in the early until mid and at this time you should abuse his easy ganking possibility! In the Late you wanna stick to your carries and protect them. However if you are able to make a pick with the super fast Bear, then go for it but do not dive to deep into the enemy backline without your team backing you up.

All in all, he has his weakside but still, his super strong early makes up for it!
An introduction to my Build
With this build Volibear becomes a really fast and strong mid to late game Jungler Champion. You will be able to deal a lot of Damage To any Champion with your abilities and Hits!

Chemtank is your Mythic in this Build. This item gives you everything Volibear needs! It has HP in it, Damage and CDR. This build overall focuses on stacking up movement speed and HP. Chemtank´s damage scales with movement speed and Hp. That means, the more HP and Movementspeed we have, the more damage we will be doing with Chemtank once we activate it. Not only this, the way you build it, is also really good for you. And do not forget about the passive of this item, which will give you 50 HP and Ability Hast ! So the synergy between Volibear and this item is really high! It helps you to reach your target, to slow it and to apply damage based on your Health and movementspeed! At your first back you should buy boots! Either Plated Steelcaps or Mercs. After that you should focus on building your Mythic item. Buy 2 ruby cristals first and build that into Bami´s Cinder. At your back after, complete the item!

Your second item should be Deadmans Plate! It´s an overall good item for Volibear as it provides HP, damage and Armor! The movementspeed of this item will add up on the damage of Chemtank. At the same time, Volibear becomes faster and faster which helps with the kiting. You also get tankier and will be able to stay for a long time in these fights that will happen at the mid game as you guys fight for Drakes or Heralds.

After this you should look to get Force of Nature! It also increases your movement speed by 5% and adds again damage on top of Chemtank, since Chemtank scales with Movementspeed!

Your fourth item should be Gargoyle Stoneplate! This item will give you a shield and that shield scales with HP! The more HP you build, the stronger the shield will be. Not only this, it also provides Ability haste and Ability Haste is super important which is the only downside of this itembuild as Deadmans and Force of Nature does not provide any Ability Haste. Gargoyle Stoneplate helps with dives in the mid game till late game. If your team is siegeing, you can simply dive the enemy team by using your ult and disableing the turret. At this very second you wanna press Gargoyle Stoneplate so you get that super big shield, because then, the enemy team will respond and throw everything they got on you. But guess what, the shield will suck all that damage ;)

The last item is situtional and you should pick your next item according to what you need. But in general i like to get a Titanic Hydra or Hourglass. Titanic Hydra if the enemy team has mixed damage and Hourglass if they only apply physical damage.
Jungle Pathing & Gameplay Style
The Jungle is a very complex role. This is why pathing is super important. Everything that is written down in this section, is also available as aGameplay video below! Feel free to check it out.

There are 3 good pathing options:
Full Clear: Volibear has a good clearingspeed, if you keep up your passive by pulling out the camps. During loadingscreen you wanna figure out what lane to gank first. Depending on this decision, you either start from Botside and full clear till Topside or vice versa.
(Blue>Gromp>Wolves>Raptors>Red>Krugs>Scuttle)
Here is a Gameplay example with a Full Clear:
4 Camp Clear: This path requires you to start at the Blue! So be sure about ganking the opposite side of the map! This one is really good to be at the Scuttle right when it spawns or to counter gank a lane.
(Blue>Gromp>Wolves>Red>Scuttle)

The last pathing i wanna share with you is my favourite one! It´s more like an aggressiv way to play Volibear as you wanna invade the enemy jungler! Depending on where the enemy jungler starts, you wanna do a three camp clear into invade. So for example Blue into Gromp into Red into invade! As you invade, you wanna be patient. Drop a Ward first into the bush right at in the buff camp. Wait till the enemy jungler starts the clear. Once the Monster drops to around 700 HP you channel your E ability and walk towards your enemy. Right when the E hits the Monster you press Smite and BOOM! You got the Buff and damaged the enemy jungler at the same time. Now do not hesitate! Keep going and try to kill the enemy jungler

Volibear Skills
Before we start talking about our runes choices and why we are playing with them we need to understand how the new volibear's kit works.
Lets start with his skills:

Passive: THE RELENTLESS STORM
Volibear's attacks and abilities grant attack speed, and eventually cause his basic attacks to deal bonus magic damage to nearby enemies. This means that you will have SPLASH DAMAGE to 1st clear the camps faster but of course damaging the enemy laners whenever you gank. Also you will do more damage in teamfights cause you will be able to hit multiple targets just by focusing always ONE!

Q: THUNDERING SMASH
Volibear gains speed towards enemies, stunning and damaging the first one he attacks. This skill is going to give you the movement speed that you need to reach your target, do more damage and most importantly STUN THE TARGET whenever you gank!

W: FRENZIED MAUL
Volibear damages an enemy, applying on-hit effects and marking them. Casting this spell again on the same target deals bonus damage and heals Volibear. One of the MOST IMPORTANT skills for the new volibear, not only you will do bonus damage you will also receive a HUGE AMOUNT OF HP back that will also scale with your MISSING HP and helps you to stay healthy in the jungle during the clear!

E: SKY SPLITTER
Volibear summons a lightning bolt at a location, dealing damage and slowing enemies while granting Volibear a shield if he's inside the blast radius. Another IMPORTANT and super powerful skill that not only will give you sustain with a shield but also increase your clearing speed in the jungle and empower your ganks as it slows enemy Champions!

R: STORMBRINGER
Volibear leaps to a target location, slowing and damaging enemies beneath him while gaining bonus health. Enemy towers near his landing location become temporarily disabled.
Your ultimate will give you the ability to have an extra flash-dash to reach the target, go over walls etc. BUT ALSO will disable towers, making you an extraordinary dive machine for some insane Ganks. Once the enemy laner Flashed, he won´t be even save under turret. Use your ultimate and dive people who are tower hugging :D
How to combo the Abilities?
Your combos are pretty damn easy to pull off on Volibear. All you have to do for the easiest combo is to run on the target with your "Q" Ability and then hit it with your "W". You do not have to wait the Q animation out! You can midair start your W and the target will be stunned and you will apply your W at the same time. With the next Autoattack you will proc PTA. However, while you are running towards your target you can already place your E. So your combo would be Q+E+W+Auto! You keep autoing until your W comes up again and W the target again for the heal and the increased damage. So your combo would look like this: Q+E+W+Auto+Auto+Auto+W! Even if the enemy tries to damage you back, you will have that sweet nice shield from your E on you, which will suck some of the damage. That is a pretty easy and standard combo that can be used to gank enemies but also as Volibear Top as your standard Trading combo!

An more advanced Option to combo your Abilies is to start the fight with your "E" ability and set an autoattack between your E and Q and then follow up with the "Q" ability. After that keep hitting them with autoattacks with that increased Attackspeed. Whenever you feel your enemy is gonna return a bunch of damage, activate your "W" Ability and run away if you do need to.

Another Option is to use your W and Q abilities as Autoresets. That means you can always set an autoattack in between these abilities. So the combo would look like this: Auto+W+Auto+Q+Auto! You can use your E as an opener or just use it during the combo.

Another one, that includes your Ultimate would be to E the target, while you are running towards it (Q). You can use your R to close the gap and almost burst the target till death. Once you have stunned your target, you immediatly use your W ability and start to autoattack the target till death. Once your W comes up again, you eat the target! Think about it, your E and your Ult will land almost at the same time and combined with your Q plus W damage, you will be doing a lot of damage in a very short of time! So your combo would look like this: Q+E+R+W+Auto+Auto+Auto+W

The combos are shown in a specific video that i made:
Skillorder
Sky Splitter [E]
For your Skillorder you first wanna put a point into your "E" and leave it like that. You wanna maximize your Q first and put points into E each time you can´t skill up Q or W or Ult!

Frenzied Maul [W]
The second Ability you should take after the "E" Ability is the "W" Ability. And from then you maximize this ability SECOND! This ability does a good amount of damage and it heals you!

Thundering Smash [Q]
At level three you skill up your Q and this is the ability that you wanna max out FIRST! It will increase your movementspeed and stuns your target. It´s super essential for ganking and therefore super important for Volibear Jungle!

Of course you should put a point in your ultimate whenever you can at six, eleven and sixteen.
Summoner Spells
For your first summoner spell you should pick up flash. This is a required summoner spell on Volibear because it gives you a reliable escape and can get you in a better position in a teamfight so you can catch and stun someone with your Q.

Your second choice should be Smite! You can go for red Smite or blue Smite. When it comes to me, i like to pick blue Smite. Blue Smite will slow the target and speed you up at the same time. Making it possible to reach your target and make a pick!

Also it helps to get out of sticky situations for example if you invade the enemy Jungle.
Runes
Press the Attack [PTA] is just the perfect rune for Volibear! It´s super easy to proc it with Volibear as your Q and W counts as an autoattack. So if you run at your target, you can easy W while in Q animation, which would be the first proc and stun the target, which would be your second proc. Another slap and BOOM! PTA is enabled. From now on, not only you will apply more damage, but your teammates too!

Triumph will allow you to stay longer in teamfights as it restores 12% of your missing health for each enemy that got killed.

Legend: Tenacity will provide you 30% Tenacity which is super important these days, because of the absurd amount of CC in the game!

Coup de Grace will increase your damage the more health the target loses! This really helps a lot with your ganking. Now PTA already increases your damage once enabled, but Coup de Crace again increases your damage as your target will drop low for sure!

For your second rune tree you should pick up Sorcery runes!
Celerity increases your movementspeed overall by 7%! So all the items, that grants your movementspeed like Deadmans Plate or Force of Nature will grant you even more movementspeed because of Celerity. This again will increase your damage done by Chemtank as Chemtank damage scales with movementspeed.

Waterwalking helps with early skirmishes for example if you try to contest the scuttle crab!
