As a Cassiopeia player, I'd have to be another to suggest getting Tear, over any other mana item in the game. The active and AP from Seraph's Embrace are absolutely insane, and what she needs is a larger mana pool -- not a higher regen. With the speed that Twin Fangs come out in fights, or baron/dragon, you burn through mana extremely quickly, so more than the amount of regen she has, it's the size of her mana pool that is important. Additionally, while only a minor point, a larger mana pool synergizes more cleanly with her Twin Fang than a lot of regen.

For items, I would actually recommend a boots-pots start. Tons of sustain, freedom to dodge skill-shot champs, and the speed boost makes it even easier to land Noxious Blast and follow-up with Twin Fang. I find that to be more useful than Doran's Ring. And while I do get a Tear early, I typically don't finish it until much later, instead going straight into Zhonya's into Rylai's.

Rylai's is an item with a lot of mixed opinion on it, especially as her skills are mostly AoE, and have a reduced slow, but with Twin Fang, you get the full affect of the slow which just makes it very easy to land Noxious Blast and finish them with Twin Fang.

Typically, I pass over Will, as well, because she doesn't really need the spell vamp. It can help her survive more, yes, but I'd consider it quite situational depending on the needs of the team.

A typical build I run on Cassi is Sorc, Zhonya's, Rylai's, Seraph's Embrace, Void, and either Rabadon's or something like GA or BV for the sixth slot.

Another thing this does, though, is it frees up blue buff for another member of your team. Cassi's passive + masteries give her a free 30% CDR, and her mana pool is massive, so neither portion is very strong on her late. Early on a blue or two is useful, but it can go to other places late game, as it's not nearly as necessary on her as with most mages.

Few things:

-Flat AP seals and glyphs are wrong in my opinion, per lvl ones outclass them at lvl 6.
-If you go for Archangel's Staff then get Tear of Goddess sooner
-If you go for Archangel why Clairity, that point can be spent better.

Everything else seems fine, although I think if you work more on your mana management using your passive and Doran's Rings you won't need Clar or Archangel's Staff at all and will be able to spend these into better DMG investments.

My friend used to play with Cass. We played Twisted Treeline (I still like it more than Summoners Rift, except I play with Rammie - another story) and he was in 4/5 games pain in enemy team IF he managed to get some early kills. In case he didnt get those kills, he was soo bad and actualy our pain. :-D

But thats not what I wanted to said. Your guide is pretty good, but still I have few notes:

1) We call "SS" :-P

2) Rylai's Crystal Scepter gives HP - yes. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT IS SLOW!

3) I miss some chapter about Runes choices, why these runes?

4) Good guide name!

5) Some optional items?

I keep my vote so far, just in case you want to improve your guide.

Consider combining Rod of Ages and Archangel. Instead of Rylais and Archangels.
