Welcome to Duelist Bard!

Have you ever wanted to appear anywhere in lane and solo a laner? Have you become fed up with simply keeping your ADC alive? Do you want to see Bard kill some fools!?

Then this is your build!

Attack speed, Heals for you and your team, and abusing those Meeps are the name of the game on this one!

... Just be ready to "Mute All" so you don't have to listen to your ADC begging you to stop leaving lane and stealing kills...

Team Work

Lane

Your job in lane is to bully the hell out of the enemy. Push them off creeps, poke them constantly, and always look for that opportunity to Q them and commit.

Remember, your #1 should be to get some kills early and snowball through the game. However, you should be keeping your ADC healthy as much as possible. If you have full Mana, you're doing it wrong. Drop a W!

As soon as you get Mobility Boots, start roaming. Go and kill the mid. If you are low elo, they will not expect Bard to show up, Q, slow with passive, and destroy. You are the entire team's support.
Come back to Bot when your ADC is being pushed in.

Teamfights

You are the engager. Be smart, but don't be afraid to lead with your R. Just throw that ****, man!

Remember, when you throw an R as bard, a teamfight almost always follows, so do some mental math; don't engage if your team won't win the upcoming fight. Bard is the shot-caller very regularly.

Once a fight breaks out, hit those stuns! Combo R with Q.

Next, start autoing. Your AS should be fairly high that your attacks should matter a great deal and come with an AOE slow.

Between autos, whenever your W is up, put it directly on someone (this may be yourself).
In a teamfight, you won't have time to drop the W and let it sit. Also, your team will not notice if you drop it outside the fight. Just drop that sucker right on an ally that is getting low.

Runes

You are a poke machine. Bully that lane whenever Fleet Footwork is up, you will heal for extra thanks to Revitalize.

If your ADC follows up, they will be healed by Font of Life for a boosted amount again from Revitalize.

Coup De Grace gives you a nice advantage in early game, low health, trading. Do not be afraid to fully commit to a low enemy ADC before they have gotten some damage items.

Triumph and Alacrity will snowball nicely if you are making plays in the early game. By late game you should be able to dart around a teamfight dumping out serious damage.

Items

Start Spellthief's for that early game damage. You should be poking like a madman already, so you should have no problem getting some gold from that.

Rush Mobility Boots ASAP! This is critical. You need to roam. Kill that mid, roll with your jg during invades, push towers that you can dive on.

Nashor's Tooth should be your first aggressive item and you may want to build it before your Sightstone if you are fed enough to survive a blind gank.
