Who am I?
This is the most streamlined braindead guide for sett that anybody can follow from a s10 d1 player that hit masters this preseason using this broken build. Currently, in S11, I have three master accounts (60% wr to masters each) ranked #1, #2, AND #3 Sett NA(on league of graphs)(pog). I hope to hold these titles. I've posted how to play basically every matchup in the top lane based on my own experiences with this build. Updated for 11.3. What is this Guide?
Stop deluding yourself into thinking that Sett's not broken. Your performance on this champion depends entirely on your mental. Stop looking at the statistics because most people are bad and you're better than most people. Even if you don't think Sett is broken, convince yourself that he is because it's true. If you're really having trouble doing this, why the **** are you playing Sett? Seriously? Do you find it fun playing what you think is a garbage champion? I mean seriously, because you need to find out why you enjoy playing Sett and really go into that. Is it the early game 1v1 potential? Is it his insane team fight potential? Notice how he has both? Notice how that's ****ing op?
Sett is Broken
Before preseason, I mained botrk bc/triforce Sett. This was definitely strong and fun, but assuming that you can't 1v1 on sett without the stats from these items is dumb. It's even dumber if you think stridebreaker is better. You already have a stun on E, a movespeed boost on Q, and a suppression + 99% slow on your ult. Imagine needing to spend 3000+ gold for a dash the size of an orange and a garbage slow. Goredrinker gives you so much free AD that your trades are almost as strong as they were with BOTRK. The adjustment to the lower AS takes some time, but is worth it.

Your Early Dueling Potential Isn't Hurt By Goredrinker
You can easily 1v1 any traditional top laner with Gore. Your AD from Gore is the same as the AD from BOTRK+Stride, but you're just also unkillable. Just position better.

Your Teamfight Is 10x Stronger With This Build
I'll elaborate on this below, but basically your full combo does the same damage but you also can't die.
Know Your Weaknesses and Strengths.

Teamfighting
11.3 update-
I've started maxing W first, then E. Why? With the ironspike whip changes, I've decided to try maxing W to make up for the lost waveclear. In the process, I've come to a few conclusions. W max and E max are much MUCH better for Q max with this playstyle. Why? Since you'll be starting teamfights as soon as you get goredrinker (around lvl 11), it's MUCH better for you to a. not only have better waveclear to clear waves and then get to the teamfight faster, but b. you have W and E, your AOE teamfight abilities, doing MUCH more damage and coming up MUCH more often. Considering that you don't auto attack much in teamfights w/ this build, the W and E max makes you so much stronger and I've been super surprised by how powerful it makes you. I've not missed the bonus damage from Q max at all. Your trade timer is your W, and cutting that CD has helped me trade so much more often and so much better. You can basically spam W in lane without being punished immediately after (bit of an exaggeration but still just try it and see how it feels). The bonus AD from gore really shines w/ W and E max. At some point, you can use ANY combination of W, E, or Gore (just two of the three) to clear backline minions and it feels SO good.

Items 11.3 nerfs explanation- Despite the nerfs, these items are still strong. Your damage has not been nerfed at all, to be clear. The sterak's shield lost 100 base health per stack. What does this mean? It means by the time you have gore + steraks, your max shield will be 1500, reduced from 2000 in the previous patch. I lowkey laughed at the nerf because nobody is breaking through a 1500 health shield alongside your W shield and goredrinker anyway. Maybe other champs would feel the nerf, but I've not noticed much of a difference. As for the goredrinker nerf, here's this- after the nerfs, I hit a 4-man goredrinker at about 15% hp and healed for 500 hp WITH grievous wounds. That means a 5 man heal is around a 1000 still. To be fair, I rarely used gore for healing anyway. The sheer AD and tank stats are insane. Plus, they buffed gargoyles, so your overall surviving power is about the same while no damage has been lost with the nerfs.

Goredrinker- Gives you a 500-1000 health heal when you hit five people and gives a hundred AD, CDR, and max health. Also, e, w, ironwhip/goredrinker combo clears minion waves instantly so do with that information what you will. I usually use it to hardshove and then roam for invades, deep wards, or resets.
Steraks- Gives you more max health, a 1500 health shield when you hit/get hit by five people plus gives you enough AD to murder backline champs.
Gargoyle- Gives you a 1000hp shield that scales with HP (that you got from the first two items) as well as a great amount of resistances and ability haste.
Visage- Makes your w shield, goredrinker heal, sterak's shield, and gargoyle shield ALL 25% STRONGER.
Ravenous Hydra- Makes all of your AOE abilities deal more AOE damage, all of which you now also happen to heal off of, a heal which is also boosted by your visage LMAO. Get the elixir of wrath to really **** **** up afterwards.
