I've definitely erased WotA, but not Hextech Gunblade because of the active, which can be useful in very situational cases. About the 218 AP, it's a residual statistic, I never choice an item because of its ability power but thinks like

Offtank-Caster Mundo is good idea. And I like your ability sequence. But unfortunatelly, you are building "mage mindo" wrong. He has TERRIBLE AP scaling on his Burning Agony. In your calculatios you have 218 AP. It's only 40 additional DPS. It can be easily achieved with Sunfire Cape. Without sacrificing any tankiness and spending tons of gold on useless AP.
Liandry's + Sorc shoes is enougth (may be with Ryalai's for "sticking") to be "Mage Mundo".
Spellvamp:
WOTA for Mundo? Please, kill me. 80 AP = 80 * 0.2 = 16 additional DPS. Sunfire is only 100 gold more and gives you free 40 DPS with good tank stats. If you want SpellVamp on Mundo that much build Spectral Wraith which will give quicker dragon/baron at least and raise your CDR to 34%. It's practically hard cap
Slows doesn't work that way.
So, Cleaver + Rylai's will give 40 + 35 * 0.35 = 52.5% slow, not 75%.
