Even though Pyke mid is very rare due to it's lack of neutral game, Cassiopeia is a natural counter for Pyke. The only thing to take into account is to hold your W ground and use it when he charges his hook to Q+E you. The rest of the lane is unplayable due to your extreme kiting and pressure, plus his passive healing is useless because he is most certainly going to be in your FOV due to mid lane being shorter than other lanes.
Ahri
One of your best matchups. Her charm is easy to dodge with W grounding and she has no way to escape your sustained damage. You outsustain her in extended trades and she can't all-in you effectively.
Yasuo
Can't really engage on you safely. His only way in is through your poison cloud which grounds him. Your Q poke is too consistent and he can't all-in without eating your full combo.
Yone
Similar to Yasuo. His R engage gets punished heavily by your W grounding + R stun combo. Very favorable if you can respect his E dash windows.
Azir
Statistically one of your best matchups. He has trouble dealing with your consistent close-range poison spam and lacks tools to deal with your sustained DPS once you get close to his soldiers.
Smolder
Low mobility, easy to poke and zone with your W. He can't match your sustained trade damage and gets bullied off farm by your Q pressure early.
Vex
She wants to stay back and poke but you out-sustain her over time. Her passive Fear doesn't stop your Twin Fang spam and you outscale her significantly.
Sylas
He can be annoying early with his W heal but your W grounds him completely, stopping his mobility. If you can manage his burst windows the matchup becomes very comfortable.
Lissandra
Short range makes her vulnerable to your poison zoning. Her R can interrupt your combo but you can W behind her to cut off escapes. Manageable with good positioning.
Orianna
She outranges you slightly but struggles in extended trades. Bait her ball positioning then punish with Q+E spam. Scales worse than you overall.
Viktor
His laser poke is annoying but he can't match your DPS once you get on him. Respect his E slow — keep your W ready to zone and the matchup becomes favorable.
Syndra
High burst but relatively immobile. Her balls can be played around and your W prevents her from easily repositioning. You outlast her in drawn-out fights.
Akali
Dangerous pre-6 if she plays aggressive but your W completely counters her R1→R2 engage path. Once you know where she's jumping, she's very punishable.
Katarina
Your W grounds her and stops her daggers-to-reset pattern cold. She cannot ult freely without walking into your poison cloud. One of the champions your W punishes hardest.
Corki
Favorable statistically. His poke is annoying but he has no real mobility tools. You shred him in extended trades and your late game outscales him significantly.
Twisted Fate
No mobility and predictable. His gold card is the main threat but your W can zone him out of good card pickups. You win extended fights comfortably.
Annie
Her stun combo is threatening and she can match your damage in short trades. Play around her Pyromania stacks — when she has no stun up, go aggressive.
Irelia
Pre-6 you can bully her if you respect her Q resets. Post-6 she becomes much stronger. Your W is crucial to stop her dashes — land it and she's a free kill.
Fizz
Slippery and his E makes him untargetable. He has short burst windows where he can trade but you win if the fight goes long. Zhonya's is very important here.
LeBlanc
Very even. She has mobility and burst that can delete you before you can react. Your W punishes her double chain passive but she's too slippery to ever feel comfortable against.
Taliyah
Her terrain and poke chip you down but she's squishy and your sustained DPS wins if you can close the gap. Respect her rock throw range and play through it.
Aurora
Decent range and mobility make her annoying but she's squishy. Her passive bunny hop can escape your W but you out-sustain her in trades if she stays in range.
Akshan
His hook-grapple mobility is annoying and he plays safe well. He wins short trades but you outscale him significantly. Play for the late game or get a gank advantage.
Brand
His W stun into passive stack is very dangerous if it lands. He outranges you slightly. Dodge his W and the matchup becomes manageable — take the trades he can't win.
Anivia
Her wall completely counters your kiting and her E shreds in extended trades which is your territory. She's also tanky thanks to her passive egg. One of your harder matchups.
Lux
Massive range advantage and her Q root sets up a full combo before you can respond. You need to get under her range to fight back but her E keeps you at bay. Hard lane.
Xerath
Extreme range poke that you can't match. He never has to come near your poison and can whittle you down from across the screen. Hard to play from behind here.
Hwei
Versatile poke and strong lane phase. His ability to shift range and patterns makes your zoning harder to apply. You outscale him but laning is rough.
Naafiri
High burst and pack damage can blow you up before you react. Her pack of daggers interrupts your combo and she's mobile enough to dodge your W setup. Respect her all-in.
Qiyana
Very slippery and her burst is enough to kill you in one rotation. She can dodge your W with her mobility and go back in — very punishing if you misposition even once
Talon
His E vault ignores your W grounding since it's a dash, not a blink. He has insane burst at level 6 and roams better than you. Take Zhonya's early and pray for ganks.
Malzahar
His silence and suppress make it very hard to play around. Voidlings apply consistent pressure under his turret and he matches your scaling. Banshee's is essential here.
Zed
One of your worst matchups. His R is undodgeable, his shadows bypass your W, and he has enough burst to kill you before Conqueror stacks up. Zhonya's is mandatory and even then it's miserable.
Vladimir
W makes him completely untargetable on demand — he can dodge your poison, your R, and all your damage on a low cooldown. You simply can't kill him and he out-sustains you over time.
Veigar
His Event Horizon cage traps you inside unable to kite at all. One cage into full combo and you're dead with zero counterplay. He also outscales into the late game which is supposed to be your domain.
Sion
Statistically your hardest matchup. He absorbs everything you deal with his passive shield stacking and W shield. His CC chain removes your ability to kite and his tankiness laughs at your DPS.
Amumu
The dream combo. His R hits everything in range, and if enemies try to run away they walk straight into your W and poison cloud. You R them while they're still rooted — near-instant stun chain with zero counterplay in tight spaces.
Zac
S-tier jungler right now with insane CC. His E launches enemies into your kill zone, his R bounces them repeatedly, and his ganks are long-range and unavoidable. One of the best junglers to have when you're a stationary carry.
Malphite
His R is one of the most impactful CCs in the game and it knocks up everyone hit — facing Cass, meaning your R stuns them all. The double ult combo in teamfights is absolutely devastating and requires essentially zero coordination.
Sejuani
Massive AoE CC both on E and R. She engages from far, freezes people in place, and everything she hits is primed for your full poison rotation. She also tanks everything so you can sit back and spam freely.
Jarvan IV
His EQ knockup sets up your combo perfectly and his R arena traps enemies inside your W cloud with no escape. They can't dash out of your poison because W grounds them and they can't jump out of J4 walls. Brilliant in coordinated play.
Hecarim
His R fears enemies toward you — which means they run directly into your face and your W. He's also incredibly fast for follow-up ganks after you push someone out of position with Q poke.
Rek'Sai
Top-tier jungler in the current meta with strong gank paths and knockup setup. Her tunnels let her appear anywhere on the map and her knockup from underground is hard to react to, giving you free Q→E chains.
Warwick
His suppression is one of the best CC types for you — the enemy literally cannot do anything while you spam E on them. His passive hunts down low-HP enemies which pairs well with your ability to kite people to low HP.
Nocturne
His R forces the whole map to go dark and his fear keeps enemies in place for your combo. Works especially well once you're ahead — his ult creates chaos, you stun everything facing you, the game ends.
Vi
Her R is a hard targeted suppression followed by a knockup, pointed directly at a single target. That's a free 2-second window where you can spam your full combo without the enemy being able to dodge anything.
Nautilus
His Q root and R knockup chain are reliable CC even from a distance. If he dives mid to hook the enemy laner you have instant setup for a kill. Tanky enough to soak damage while you deal it.
Nunu & Willump
His R channels and slows an entire area — if enemies can't dash out because your W grounds them, they eat the full damage. His Snowball gank sets up your combo and he's surprisingly tanky for early game protection.
Diana
Good gank damage and her R pulls enemies together, which can set up a multi-target Petrifying Gaze. She's squishy though and doesn't bring reliable hard CC beyond her Q slow — good synergy but not exceptional.
Elise
Her cocoon stun is a reliable setup for your combo. She's strong early which compensates for your weak pre-6 window. Falls off late game but you scale enough to carry for both.
Gragas
His R explodes enemies in your direction and his E disrupts divers coming for you. Average synergy — his CC sets up your combo but his kit is more about displacement than sustained lockdown.
Fiddlesticks
His R ambush panic + silence into your ult can completely destroy teamfight positioning. Decent synergy in skirmishes but his ganks are weak pre-6 and Cass needs early protection.
Taliyah
Her wall blocks escape routes and W knocks enemies up. Good at forcing enemies into your poison zones by cutting off their paths. Not a hard CC monster but offers map control that benefits your playstyle.
Viego
His W roots enemies in place for a clean combo setup, and once he possesses a dead enemy he can chain more CC. Snowball potential with Cassiopeia is high if the jungler knows how to play the possession windows.
Graves
Strong jungler overall but he's a duelist, not a setup machine. His kit brings no reliable CC to lock targets for your combo — just raw damage. You both do damage but don't amplify each other much.
Kindred
Her R ironically saves the enemy too. Otherwise she brings decent skirmish pressure but no meaningful CC to set you up. You're fighting independently rather than as a unit.
Kha'Zix
He's an assassin who needs isolated targets. You're a teamfight champion who thrives in cluster fights. You pull in opposite directions — he wants to pick, you want sustained fights.
Twitch
His ambush and poison stack with yours in creative ways, and if he flanks from the same angle as your R it can be deadly. However he has no CC and you both need peel — fun but risky duo.
Briar
Strong 1v1 jungler but her ult makes her dive deep with no control, sometimes running away from your combo range. Decent follow-up potential but no reliable setup for your playstyle.
Shyvana
Strong in the current meta but mostly a scaling carry herself. No CC for your setup needs. You both want to scale and neither protects the other — parallel carries, not synergistic ones.
Master Yi
Absolutely no CC, no setup, no synergy. He just farms and 1v1s while you need a front line and engagement support. Two hyper carries with no peel or setup for each other is a recipe for losing teamfights.
