Introduction

Welcome to my guide for Vayne, The Night Hunter. This is my first guide here on Mobafire and I felt that since i use this site so much, i would like to give something back. I fell in love with her right when i watched her champion spot light and have enjoyed playing her ever since. I've been trying to figure out a build that works consistently on her for a while and i am certain that this is it. I would appreciate if you tried the build before up or down voting, and constructive criticism would be very helpful as well. Thanks and enjoy :]

Summoner Spells

Ghost makes escaping from you very very difficult as well as giving you a nice escape tool. Vayne can chase very well, but she doesn't have many escape tools aside from her tumble. This can help in that area greatly.
Flash is one of the best summoner spells in the game and can be used on anyone. Excellent gap closer, awesome escape tool, very viable spell.
Exhaust makes it very difficult for someone to 1v1 you, especially with condemn. It can also make chasing even easier on her, which can secure a kill on almost anyone.

Masteries

21/0/9 your average AD masteries, nothing special.

Runes

Greater Mark of Desolation Greater Mark's of Desolation for the extra damage throughout the game.
Greater Seal's of Clarity to help with mana problems early on.
Greater Glyphs of Focus to help with casting your spells more often.
Greater Quintessence's of Fortitude for the extra survivability early game. (Vayne is very squishy)

Items

: Solid starting item for vayne. The 100 health and lifesteal will help you to stay in lane that much longer and harass your enemies with ease.

: Vayne needs Attack speed in her early game and berserker's greaves gives her just enough to last until your Bloodthirster is finished.

: The Bloodthirster is one of Vayne's best items. It gives a solid boost to AD and Lifesteal, both of which she needs crucially.

: The Phantom Dancer gives Vayne that extra edge she needs to hit faster and become a pretty solid threat mid-late game.

: The Black Cleaver gives a nice damage boost along with a bit of attack speed and an awesome passive. **This can be subbed out for any of your situational items if deemed fit.**

: Vayne is a rather squishy champion, which is why the Frozen Mallet is such a great help on her. It gives her a nice health boost and gives her a very solid passive. Chasing is what she excels at and slowing your enemies to make it that much easier is always a good thing.

: Madred's Bloodrazor is a nice top off to your build. It gives you that extra Silver Bolts type passive to hit that much harder, as well as a nice AS and AD boost.

The Last Whisper can be taken if you are facing a very tanky team that's starting to stack against you.

Banshee's Veil can be taken if you are facing a very magic/caster heavy team that's starting to melt you.

Skills and How to use them

Tumble is Vayne's bread and butter skill. It let's her chase, dodge, run, and of course that extra damage boost that's so synergistic with her silver bolts. As Vayne, this is your skill that should always be on cool down, you can't use it enough.

Silver Bolts give a nice damage boost every 3rd hit. Think of this ability as 's passive. Taking advantage of adding tumble to your last hit can give almost a double bonus in damage.

Condemn's main use is to knock an enemy either into a wall stunning them (your main choice) or to push the enemy back into your team mates, similar to Alistars headbutt . ***Be careful when using this not to push enemies away from you or your team if you're chasing them!!***

Final Hour gives Vayne an awesome attack boost, gives her tumble a stealth which can be used to escape and essentially "juke" someone in a close 1v1. Final Hour also makes running away from you nearly impossible, use this to your advantage!! Due to it's ridiculously low cool down, you should use this any time you go into a team fight, or go for a kill, unless you know you can kill them without it.

Jungling

***Coming soon*** (Yes she can actually jungle if needed, although there are other choices that would be better)
