void staff is more effective before enemies buy mr. just thought you may want mention that its always better to get void staff before rabadons, because its more efficient the earlier you buy it. Its already a very efficient item too. And the build path is raw AP so you get the best of both worlds when you finally get the deathcap.

This is true; however, I believe that because you have extra scalings from Protobelt and Lich Bane and three AP items before you build deathcap/void, it makes deathcap the better choice if the enemy carries have no MR because you benefit more from raw AP for your large amount of scalings.

The guide doesn't need to be updated for 7.16. There were no changes up to this patch that affected him.

for match ups you don't have ryze or kat i'm mostly concerned with ryze... pain to fight as fizz since his snare is a point and click instant cast skill i have yet to win a ryze match up...

btw here's this... late game adc one shot combo w q e auto if necessary and they should be dead... i've killed a kalista who was at 100% while i was at like 1 hp with that combo it's op late anyways...

For Fizz vs Ryze, this is a matchup you should be taking Teleport as he has too much harrass for you to sustain through during the lane. In the first few levels, you should be looking to use your E to negate ryze's E or engaging with your Q when he misuses one of his abilities on the minion wave and do short trades with him by looking to proc the tripled bonus damage on your W. You want to try to consistently do short trades with him and use your free recall with your teleport to continue pressuring him before he gets his Tear of the Goddess. If you can continue to pressure him without falling behind then you are practically winning the lane as he will not be able to find an optimal time to back for his Tear of the Goddess and if he doesn't get the tear early then he will not scale effectively. Also, if he chooses to recall early for the tear, then you will already have the advantage as you can just use your teleport to return to lane quicker and gain an experience advantage. You want to be consistently forcing trades and all-ins in the early game. This is where Ryze is weakest and will most likely not be building Magic Resist as he needs to complete a Tear of the Goddess and Rod of Ages first to scale effectively.

yea for ryze what i said is outdated now since new banshee. just rush that after a sheen i guess? and it's pretty damn easy from there. And is it me or whenever i play fizz in ranked i get like CAMPED like 3 ganks that fail but they still keep coming to mid before the 11 min mark life is rough...

Nice guide. I bought fizz prettyyy recently. What would you say the most important item is? Like the item I must RUSH RUSH RUSH. Also does guardians angel work on fizz? Like doesn't it work for everybody like can't you take it more frequently?
1
Finish Flash (2) | May 18, 2017 8:25pm
Your most important rushed item would be protobelt because it provides the cooldown reduction you need to max out at 40%, the extra health adds a lot of survivability when diving onto enemies, and the active is great as an extra gap closer to get onto your enemies. Also, if you do not need it as another gap closer, you can use it at close range for its maximum damage output as the more bolts that hit your enemy means more damage from the active. Also, guardian's angel would not be a good item because the stat changes to it are inefficient on him and the passive isn't needed because you have a lot of safety nets like your E and hourglass to prevent deaths when you dive in. Generally, guardian's angel is better for AD engagers who know they are going to die when they engage and dive into the whole enemy team like Wukong or Olaf.

You should change a little bit your build, because from 7.9 abyssal is for tanks now, and veil could be the new abyssal for ap champs.

Thank you for that, I haven't updated the guide with the new patch yet, so I will get right on that.

I have a question regarding choice of boots and going precision over intelligence masteries, as I find it sort of inconsistent.

With boots you prefer 10% CDR over 15 magic penetration, but precision vs. intelligence is 6 Magic Penetration at level 18 vs 5% CDR and CDR cap at all levels, and here you prefer 6 magic penetration?

To me going intelligence over precision just seems like a better trade off than going lucidity over sorcerers shoes.

Any input?

Finish Flash (2) | April 10, 2017 9:52pm
Those calculations for the Magic Pen boots and Intelligence mastery do show a better trade off for the masteries and boots, however, you buy the CDR boots because of the low cost it provides so you can spend more of your gold on obtaining your core items such as Lich Bane or Hourglass, and you mainly want it due to its passive effect on reducing the cooldown of your summoner spells. As a champion who is heavily reliant on assassinations, skirmishes, and even teamfighting, summoner spell usage is of high importance to him.

Very Simple and nice guide, the Item Build works in Bronze - Silver but detailed Steps would be easier in Gold - Plat ! I used the build at my smurf (Silver V) and on my main (Plat 5)

Thanks for all the suggestions! I haven't had time to set notes on certain matchups for him, but I'll get to that soon. I'll try to format the text sometime as well. As for starting items, runes, masteries, the build itself, and ability sequence, I have notes and individual chapters covered for all of them.

Sure thing, I just put down some of his most common matchups, if you'd like to know a different specific matchup I'll put that in the guide as well.

Hi, Finish Flash,
Here are some suggestions:
Set the difficulty match up at the beginning of guide and go much more in depth about items - as why not Doran's Blade at start etc. Also go to BBCode Guide and try to format your text.
Nice runes, masteries, build and ability sequence. But you should explain everything you say.
If i can, I will be glad to help, but there are much more knowledgeable people than me around. I recommend Seth346 and his review shop.
It's nice beginning of guide so here goes up vote.
Good Luck with your guide!
