I've come to disagree with most MT Galio. Yours is no different. You build him to sustain hits from your ultimate only, and gimp his other areas.

One thing I can only recommend, if you're the only tank on your team, pick Mumu, Shen, Rammus or Singed.

Galio is meant to be played as an offtank/support hero. Not as a main tank.

I have actually been using abyssal scepter as a final item and it does work well. It certainly ads a big punch to your ult. I will contemplate switching it out.

As far as clarity goes I'm not sold on it, and might switch it out.

I disapprove of clarity man. With the mana regen mastery, its impossible to run out of mana early game. And if you get teleport intead, you can go shop, get chalice faster, then really never need clarity. Plus teleport is way better in really really late game. Also, thornail is bad for Galio since he get enough armor from is bulwark and the DMG reduction from idol of duran makes it irrelevent to get Thornail.

Check out My Galio build :)

Thanks for the support guys, I appreciate it.

I think Aegis is a good item, and in a premade 5v5 I might consider it. However, in solo queue, people don't seem to stick together, and only having 1 or 2 people around you reduces its worth greatly.

I might ad it to the guide as a suggestion.

Good guide but why don't you have Aegis?

This seems like a pretty good build. Galio's item build seems to be pretty streamlined with only a few variances between guides. I do like your masteries however, and your skill sequence is spot on.

I look forward to the rest of your guide!
