Chapter 1

Gangplank was born the son of the dread pirate captain Vincent the Shadow - one of the most wealthy and feared pirates in all of Blue Flame Island. One might think this would have spoiled the boy with a cushioned life of privilege, but the truth is quite the opposite. Growing up in the city of Bilgewater isn't easy; pirates are not known for their compassion, and that most certainly extends to their families. Vincent wanted his son to grow up tough and strong, so he was extremely hard on the young Gangplank. Even as a child, Gangplank was as mean as a snake and is said to have slept with his eyes open. As he grew, the young man rapidly became the most ruthless and feared pirate in all of Bilgewater, and his daddy was never more proud than on the day of his son's eighteenth birthday - when Gangplank stabbed his old man in the back and claimed the famed pirate ship, the Dead Pool, for his own.
His itemization is to increase his gold production, critical strike chance, critical strike damage, total damage output, etc. It is a very standard Shankplank gear load-out, the boots typically being either Tabis or Mercury, although if the enemy team has little CC and you're dominating, Swiftness isn't a bad option.

Remember: Lizard Buff is a great asset to gankplank. It makes his Shanktastic capability even better, and with BF Gat, gives you some much needed CC besides your Exhaust and ultimate. Don't be afraid to headshot minions, be it yours or theirs; I recommend Headshot for Noobs'ing those canon minions you get, they got them big azz cannons and do they ever shoot the glowy crystal on the towers? No. Slow, muscles for nothin' - shoot them in the face.

A common strategy for Shankplank, besides shanking, is to keep watch of the map. Your ultimate, Woojoo the Gangster Parrot, can really save team-mates -- or, help them land kills. You can participate in team fights without even being there this way, all the while farming cash-flow.

Another strategy, coined "You Silly Hoe," is to keep whooping dem enemies until you're lower health. Bait one of them out, thinking they can get you. Then eat you some oranges and turn around, cap them in they stomach. It's real easy to make cocky players think your Shankplank is about to need to go to the hospital or something, and that's the time you wanna pull out yo gun and show your time playing Playstation as a kid was not time wasted.

Once you get used to Shankplank, about only thing that'll ever get you down is silly fools who get Thornmail or have similar capabilities. They know they can't beat you, so instead, they try to make you beat yourself. Rammus and Galio are real annoying .. stupid Saturday morning cartoon douchebags with this tactic, because they can make you, an otherwise civil minded gangster, do the stupid - and kill yoself as a result. Be forewarned.

That is all for now. I hope you all become real rich and can buy lots of oranges. Thug life.
The continent of Valoran, however, is a dangerous place for pirates; Gangplank could read the writing on the wall. The den of pirates known as Bilgewater would soon be pulled down by the undertow of Valoranian politics and the Institute of War. It was time for Bilgewater to have their own champion to represent them in the League of Legends, and who better than the fiercest pirate of them all? It is said that Gangplank has enough power and favor to claim the title of the Pirate King back home, but that he is simply biding his time and building his reputation as a champion before he returns to a life of piracy.

-If the difference between you and your opponents health try and chase him out of the range to get xp when one of your creeps is about to die. Be very careful about this make sure they dont have a heal or if its a stunner make sure you have remove scurvy ready to heal and run back, it can be very risky and you can die if you fail.

Usually if they are not running when you already parley them and chase them fall back unless they are 1 hit from death if they have 2 or 1.5 bars on them ill let them go you can let your parley recharge so you can kill them if they havent blue pilled and is stupid enough to come back, and if they did blue pill its your chance to deny creeps and gain xp.

-If the person your laning against is gone dont atk the enemy creeps let them do as much dmg to your creeps as possible you can do the finishing blow but try to keep your enemy creeps alive as long as possible. This is also a good time to go and kill the four ghosts in your corner.

This is very effective when in the begining the mid carry ganks bot at the start of the match, if you are lucky not only will you have denied 2 melee creeps if he doesnt get back to mid quick enough he will lose out on a 3rd melee creep, this allows you to parley him a few times when hes lvl 1 and your lvl 2. If this happens you can even scare him from getting to lvl 2 until the 3rd wave of creeps.

-Now if you notice you have more creeps then the enemies and it doesnt look like yours is about to die before the enemies does, if your close enough to the enemies tower try and kill the enemies creeps them fast enough so your creeps goes up to the tower and gets killed before the enemy champion gets back.

A few changes to items:
I added 3 different types of boots depending on the team your playing against. If your playing against a mixed team i would probably get the movement speed just because you can run to the front lines shoot off your parley and run back. It really depends on the team your playing against and who on there team is doing well.

I exchanged the phantom dancer for 1 executioners callings and a yomuus on gangplank since phantom dancer no longer gives dodge, while having one executioners callings/yomuus is cheaper than 1 phantom dancer it gives the same amount of crit chance and now you also have life steal for some more survivability. Not to mention if you face a entire team of heals you can slow down there heal even more. Another reason why i switched out phantom dancer is the atk speed is almost useless on melee heroes if your enemy is running away your atk speed isnt going to matter and if your crit plank 1 melee hit will probably scare off your enemy anyways.

I also added sheen and trinity force into this build, probably should of done this much earlier but oh well.

Spells:

Ignite:This make your first blood even more possible. Also good for taking down enemies like Yi, Twitch, Shaco. Your speed are not working aganist them

Ghost: think no explanation needed here. Great chase ability + additional escape ability + with this and your items it make you not running anymore, it's make you almost teleporting

Pros:
- Ubelivable fast champ,
- His crits hit for around 1200-1400 DMG with Parrley, (Around half of HP to DPS champs!)
- Very good Auto Attack DMG,
- Nice Attack Speed

Cons:
- Squishy,
- Item Dependant,
- No CC (unless slow on Ulti)
- Expensive (but Gangplank is best money maker in game).
