Yes, your point is correct and that's how also played Shen before. I know tanks aren't focus that much but in this guide I tried to tell that Shen doesn't leave his lane unless he needed to use Stand United or get Baron/Dragon. Also like I said with max Feint you can cast it more often meaning trading IN your lane using your Ki Strike which gets faster CD if you can cast Feint more often will benefit both short and long trades. Of course you don't start trades with both full HP right, that's why you harass with 1st but the 2 early points which is enough to give you an advantage more so if you get help from your jungler, preferably an assassin .

And also yeah the usual Max Vorpal Blade suits most peoples playstyles, all I'm saying is that I'm more comfortable with this style and I'm not forcing the readers to do it, I just wanted to share it hoping it would fit others too.

I didn't make this guide to force it onto the readers or dictate how they play, I just hope that making I guide could help others and also help myself by getting some feedback that I'm really thankful for.

The point is that ennemies often try to focus squishies, you only focus tanks in specifics situations. Having a bigger shield isn't really great if you're not focused.
I used to play a lot of Shen and I often played him poking all day long with Q which is why I'd max it. I don't think that two points are enough. Not being able to harass my opponent out of lane or having as much impact makes him losing a lot of interest to my eyes. Although it gives better sustain and better lasthitting. Personnal opinion.

I appreciate the Feedback.

-First of all, well you are aware that this is very incomplete. The reason I made this guide was because I didn't have internet in my house for almost a week so I needed to kill time and most of this (Laning Phase, Itemization and the Tips) were written in MS Word using only stock knowledge about the game. I didn't have the chance to try them manually and research about the items while writing this last weekend.

-The reason for maxing Feint first is because it gives you higher anti harass, as Out of Pancakes said maxing W means your losing but in this guide your that's not really the case, since you're a tank mostly the jungler will be a bruiser or even an assassin having the extra shield means you can tank the enemy longer giving the jungler an easier job and also when you use Stand United. Also maxing Feint first means it will have a lower cooldown meaning you can use it more often and get the x2 lower CD for the Ki Strike.

-The usual Shen maxes Vorpal Blade first for the harass and sustain, in this guide you get 2 early points in this skill which will be enough considering you have higher shield.

-For the other items or situational items, I'm working on it and will update as soon as I finish it.

-Thanks for finding out the Typos and incorrect things. :D

Why would you ever max W first? >:

- Since you took 3 points in Perseverance, why don't you take Second Wind which is quite good on Shen ?

- You don't give any explanations about your skill order but based on the cheatsheet, you're maxing W first, but not even at level 9 but 10. Why is that ? I really prefer maxing Q for increased harass and sustain, maxing W means that you're losing your lane.

- About runes, I think that you could mention MPen marks.

- Your tip on using Feint while pushing to get Ki Strikes faster actually doesn't work since the CD reduction on your passive is only applied when hitting ennemy champions. And when using your ultimate, you WILL appear at the back of your ally.

- Why Frozen Heart ? Since you will be in the heart of the fight, Randuin's Omen gives the AS (and MS) shred and if you want heavy armour you could go Thornmail.

- In masteries explanations section, you reversed Tenacious and Legendary Guardian .

Your guide has some potential, keep working on it :)
