BELLY

Hey, I’m FatelBlade, this is my Tahm Kench guide. I’ve been playing League of Legends for ages (2010-2011), maining top lane for a lot of that time. I peaked at either D3 or D4 (not sure which) and that makes me better than 95% of League players. Tahm Kench is one of my favorite top laners, and I’m really good at him.

Despite being usually played in the support position, Tahm Kench shines as a top laner, dealing bruiser levels of damage while building full tank. He has power, defense, initiation, and a great laugh spam.

Special thanks to Jovy {insert link here} for making this guide sexy enough to ****.

+ Safe Pick, Low amount of counters
Although Miss Fortune has no actual gap closers, she's pretty mobile providing her W's passive - Strut - is active. Strut grants up to 100 movement speed when Miss Fortune is not being attacked. This makes travelling to lane, objectives or teamfights much faster and it can help you dodge certain skillshots.

Arcane Comet is my choice keystone for MF. When off CD, whenever you damage an enemy with an ability a comet will fly over from you to them and hit them to deal extra damage. This is good on MF as she's an AD caster - she relies on her abilities to do damage rather than on her auto-attacks like most ADCs. Due to this, she is able to consistently pop Comet both in skirmishes and while poking the enemy with her Q or E. As her E is also a slow, Comet is almost 100% sure to hit the enemy as they won't be able to flee the blast zone in time.

Mana flow will ease your mana issues during laning phase and after. Every minute your next ability's mana cost is refunded + you gain 8% of your mana back. Helps you stay in lane longer often times.

Ultimate hat lowers the CD of your ult by a small amount each time you use it so that when it's full stacked your ult's CD is lowered by 15% in total. Since MF's ult is so strong this rune is a great pick-up so it'll allow you to use it more often. However, considering how mana hungry MF can be, you'll have to decide for yourself which rune you'd rather use.

Above 70% HP you get extra AD and do more damage. As an ADC, you'll usually want to try to stay on high HP and in the backline, meaning you'll likely often be above the 70% threshold.

Every 20 seconds your next ability will burn your target. It'll add some more damage to your Qs if you manage to hit them when the rune is off CD (so try to do that!).

Triumph gives you a surge of health (and 25g) after you get a takedown (kill or assist). This is super helpful during early game when fights can be quite close but it remains useful for the rest of the game too because it restores 12% of your health, and not a flat amount (so it scales with you basically).

Coup De Grace gives us 10% more dmaage to targets below 40% health. Every damage dealer is great with an execution and MF is no exception to this.

An alternative to the other two runes. Bloodline gives you stacking Lifesteal with every kill or assist that you get. This means we can skip out on a lifesteal item later on, which allows for more raw damage to be built.

Flash is invaluable and you need to take it every single game. Its uses include chasing, escaping, repositioning and much more. Although it is necessary for every marksmen, and nearly every champion, it's especially vital for Miss Fortune who has no escapes and frequently may need Flash for teamfights.

Heal is your second summoner spell and it's also something that doesn't really have any alternatives. Heal gives you health and movement speed and it has more than just one use. It can be used for escaping and kiting due to the small movement speed boost, it can be used to heal yourself or an ally and it can be used to bait the enemy out when you're low on health.
