Towers are udyr's best friend. Splitpushing is the thing that udyr does to win games. While splitpushing, always pay attention to the minimap. This is one of the most important things because when you are splitpushing you will be way into the enemy territory and they could easily have two or more people come from behind and kill you. Every time you splitpush, always try to get at least one turret. at level 18 it is possible to take down a turret alone (without minions) by switching from bear to tiger. When playing udyr it is best to start your splitpushing when you have 1-10 flare stacks. Timing things like dragons, barons and ganks so that they work with your flare stacking is key and will get easier with practice.
Just dont do them. Tell your team just not to ever, EVER, teamfight. it will be a 4v5. That is something that your team will just have to accept when playing with udyr. The only time a teamfight is allowed is when you are fighting for baron buff. If for some reason you are in a teamfight, sprint right up to the adc or mid laner and start shredding his face.
Backdoors and splitpushing are udyr's life, and he lives his life to the fullest. If you see an open inhibitor or nexus, you shouldn't hesitate to sprint up to it and destroy it. This is one area where maxing bear stance second is really important. After destroying and inhibitor,or even tower, there will almost definitely be someone there to kill you. By the time that you are pulling off all these miracle backdoors, your bear stance should be fully stacked. This gives you an easy getaway when combined with bear stance. If you have ghost, that can come into play if need be. If you are running teleport, always have a ward with you to teleport to right after you back so that there is no loss in map pressure.
