Runes: Grasp of the Undying
Threats & Synergies
I specifically mention Vayne because I think this is one of the few instances where picking Miss Fortune into her is a terrible idea. You: tanky ADC. Vayne: tank shredder. This build does less damage than Press the Attack or Dark Harvest Miss Fortune so you just have to hope you outsustain Vayne. Unfortunately, Vayne doesn't care very much about your Conditioning resists or higher than average health because of her W. Of course, Miss Fortune in general is a good matchup into Vayne, but you should probably stick to actual rune pages for this matchup.
Get to two items and laugh as fighters try and fail to and kill you through all of your lifesteal and shielding.
Tanks are not insurmountable with this build but you need to itemise properly and you need to not be too behind, seeing as items like Blade of the Ruined King are for later. You will do negative damage if you go full crit, especially because you neither have Kraken Slayer's true damage nor The Collector's execute.
Assassins are mostly in the same boat as fighters. Unlike most ADCs, Grasp Miss Fortune is not so easily one-shot and has voluminous amounts of sustain. You'll (usually) survive assassin burst combos purely off sustain.
Like all ranged champions, Miss Fortune's base MR is awful, which is why I personally think mages are a bit scarier for this build than assassins. Still, you're not going to die as fast as you would using other Miss Fortune builds. Treads are a good option if you are worried here. Maw of Malmortious is, unfortunately, not an option due to its passive overlapping with that of Immortal Shieldbow.
Champion Build Guide
I came up with this build when I noticed that Grasp Miss Fortune had a positive win rate on Lolaytics a few weeks ago. I thought it was funny how it actually worked in a lot of instances so I slapped together this guide in less than an hour in response.
