Click for review Cheatsheet and build The build is quite straightforward, but I got a few questions: You clearly favor Eclipse into Black Cleaver. Is there any scenario where you would consider running one of the crit builds or is it just ‘something to check out’ based on preference? Right now you describe all the advantages of the builds, but not really when one build could be build over another. When do you go Serylda's Grudge versus Lord Dominik's Regards? It’s clear that the last provides more lategame power (combined with Infinity Edge), but when is that important? When the enemy teamcomp outscales yours or something like that? What’s your opinion on Serpent's Fang? Since you build lethality already, might it be a good option vs teams with a lot of shielding? Looking at stats sites Dark Harvest seems to be quite popular, which makes its complete absence is noteworthy. Why do you not run this rune? In the cheatsheet you run Ignite specifically versus Karthus and Master Yi, but the only presented (secondary) option in the guide body is Ghost. Guide body The best guides talk about what you (as a main) could call ‘basic stuff’. It’s extremely easy to skip over those details because you’re so used to them. However a player that’s newer to the champion will not know those details. For example on Graves one of the most important things to know about him is that you can AA – cancel animation with Quickdraw – AA. This is kind of hidden in the runes section and not mentioned anywhere else. I feel like you kinda skipped over it, since it's so obvious to you, but things like that are the best things to mention in a guide. Other examples of this can be found within the game plan section. In the midgame you mention a combo (AA Q R); however this is just the ‘damage’ part. I assume you’ll also use E to get in range? Or do you walk up for AA E AA Q R? Also, you mention grit stacks. How do you keep those up / how do you play around them? I’ve played Graves a few times, but they were always kinda there, is there something you have to explicitly pay attention to? Lastly, you again mention building ‘depending on what you need’. How do I know what I need? In the early game section, does the explained scheme also work for red side or is it blue side only? It might also be a good idea to mention that it is from blue side, otherwise people might get confused since krugs are botside for blue side. Formatting Since you mentioned being new to BBCode I won’t really whine about it. There are improvements you could make (such as moving to a unified color scheme/format), but that’s ultimately up to you. I think the guide covers the basics pretty well. It gives a good idea on what to expect when playing Graves and what to do in game. The main improvements you can make with the guide are adding more specific/dedicated sections such as an item section, (more extensive) rune section, in-depth talk about abilities (e.g. tricks, combos w/e). Of course you can always branch into more ‘general’ jungle topics (pathing, warding, ganking). Up to you whether to cover it from a very basic level or not, but it’s probably worthwhile to explain Graves specific things in that regard.
