This is a guide I made to heal powerfully with Soraka. The goal of this Soraka is to be powerful support for your teammates. To heal them and help them push with mana regen as well. I based it off of my own personal ideas, the guide "Soraka: Broken Heal (Under Construction on 03/18/11)" by daeboe, and finally the guide "Soraka Support Style" made by Xidorian. I combined all 3 to create this guide, the main reason I just didn't follow either one was I personally did not like the format of daeboe's guide and it confused me a tiny bit (that might be because I am a noob) and I just didn't follow Xidorian's because I didn't like the items and they are a bit out of date. The last reason I made this was so I didn't have to write it down and could just look at it later on the website. Thought others might enjoy it as well.

After reading the other guides I found that there are two main stats you want build for Soraka to maximize you Healing. Ability Power (to make your 'W' heal and your 'R' heal do more obviously) and Cooldown Reduction (so that you can heal more often). I went 8 into offense so that I could get 4/4 Sorcery (Reduces the cooldown of your champion by {.75/1.5/2.25/3%}). I put the 3/3 in Quickness (Increases your base movement speed by {1/2/3%}) so that you can run away a bit faster to hopefully keep your stacks for the item Mejai's Soulstealer. If you want to put one point into a Summoner's Spell then take away a point from Awareness (Increase the amount of experience your champion gains by {1.25/2.5/3.75/5%}). The rest of the Utility is fairly straight forward (more mana, mana regen, reduced cooldown).

I buy Doran's ring for the early AP and MP5. The next item I buy is the Mejai's Soulstealer so that I can start building stacks for it. I buy the Ionian Boots of Lucidity because they give you 15% Cooldown Reduction. I then get the Rabadon's Deathcap for the AP and the AP passive. The next item I get is Morello's Evil Tome for the AP MP5 and the Cooldown Reduction passive. The final item I get in my set of 6 is Spirit Visage for the Cooldown Reduction passive and the 15% Healing Regen is helpful as well. If the game is still going on and you have gold burning a hole in your pocket then you can go buy another Rabadon's Deathcap.
